Craft stores such as Michael's are great and often quite inexpensive. Also, check the newspaper because each week Michael's prints a flyer that includes a 40% off coupon. You can use it for your most expensive purchase item, and if you're buying that many invitations, it's a huge discount! You can actually buy the kit and print them on your computer.

My friend did her invitations up really cheaply by hand-writing them herself! She bought plain cream-coloured card paper (with a bevelled edge) and hand-wrote what she wanted the invite to say on one card. (She has great calligraphy writing.) Then she took the other card stock to a good photocopy place and just had them photocopy the original onto the others! It looked excellent in the end and they just put two hole punches at the top and tied some green ribbon through. It looked great and very inexpensive.

You don't have to actually have a DIY wedding kit to make your own invitations. check out http://www.do-it-yourself-invitations.com/wedding-invitations.html
There's instructions to make really nice looking invitations that are made with common materials from an arts and crafts store. There's also a link to where you buy printable DIY invitations towards the bottom of this page - http://www.do-it-yourself-invitations.com/do-it-yourself-wedding-invitations.html

We bought our wedding invitations at Michael's Arts and Craft and tied ribbons at the top matching our wedding. Michael's always ran 40% and 50% off coupons in the paper, so we bought several papers ended up getting 200 invitaions for $50 instead of $300 the printers were going to charge us. Plus they had several styles to choose from and you can usually get the RSVP card there too if you are going to need them.

you can do wal-mart or target.. if you dont mind that your invitation will look like everyone else's..

i found a couple places on line when i was looking for mine..
but if the only reason you are doing DIY is money.. you need to check Vista Print... they have beautiful invitations and they are cheaper and they do all the printing

I can't believe you know 350 people well enough to invite them to your wedding! Good luck!

I've seen them at walmart and target. You may also want to look at invitation websites and get an idea of what you would like to have on yours.
