I am looking for a good compromise with my bride to be. She would like to have Wonderful Tonight as our first dance, but I would like something with a more Swing beat to it.
So my plan is to re-mix Wonderful tonight and half way through put in a diffrent song. My problem is I can not decide which song to use, can you help?

The whole idea is to have a Dirty Dancing movie effect, where we start out slow and then go into a swing.

Not to long ago I posted a question cause I tought it would be useful instead I got all this answers that were rude and a waist of time. Don't get me wrong their were some good ones too. If you have nothing nice to say don't say nothing at all. Calling me tacky and classless makes you the same way.

For the Orthodox Christians, the wedding bands are placed on the right hand during the wedding service.

However, in the North American society most couples place the rings on their left hand.

So, the question is: which hand should one wear the rings? Stick with the traditions, or conform to the norms? And why?

I was married for 9 years and been divorced for over 3 years now and have two small children for that relationship. My GF and I have been together for 2 years now and we have one child together. We set a date for this summer but she wants to get married sooner. She says "I love you, we have a child together" and I am ready to be your wife. She has mood swings and has said something in the past that really hurt me emotionally and has caused me to question weather she wants to marry me for love or is it something else. I know she has mood swings and I try to say to myself that it is not her fault that she says things that she sometimes doesn’t mean because of her condition. She is currently on medication to mellow out her mood. She is faithful and loyal and I know that because I have tracked her. I told my GF how I felt and she assured me that she loves me. Am I just worried that my new relationship will fail like my previous marriage and need to get over it? Do I just have cold feet?

Ok, here it goes. I have been dating this guy for six months now and he proposed to me in September, wants to marry in May. It sounds great and exciting and I love him, however (I know there is always a however!) he wants to wait until marriage for intimacy. I mean no spending the night, NADA. The thing is we have already been intimate and all of a sudden he changes his mind? Oh did I forget to add "Big time Momma's boy" his schedule revolves around her....not me!!!! Am I jumping to conclusions, is he cheating, is it me? I see him two days a week and in that time it's like three hours each day, it's like he can't be around me long enough to ask me how my day was.

My maid of honor has taken over! She has picked the wedding colors, style of dresses, and the list goes on!!! I have been point blank with her and we get in a fight then she changes the subject like there's nothing wrong and continues on like I never said a word. We have been through so much in 10 yrs and nothing like this has ever happened. I don't want to kick her out of the wedding but I don't know what else to do.

My future sister-in-law has asked me to help her with her snow-flake themed winter wedding.

The catch is - she doesn't like flowers. She feels they belong in their natural state and not cut and brought inside.

Any creative ways to add very simple and elegant touches without flowers. What about bouquets and boutonnières, center pieces, church decorations, etc.

Links to pictures will be especially helpful!!

I am marrying my fiance, who's family is largely Hindu. Neither of us practice any religion in particular. We both agreed to having a traditional Christian-style wedding ceremony (white dress, tuxes, being walked down the aisle, Canon in D, etc.). Since a close friend is officiating, we can writing our own ceremony. The content of the ceremony is mainly a civil ceremony, with the theme of friendship. However, we'd like to somehow bring some Hindu elements or themes into the wedding to respect his family members. Any suggestions?

Do you think giving a small package of sunflower seeds would be an appropriate wedding favor? I was thinking of adding a note that says something like help your love grow. I am having a fall wedding and am working on a limited budget.
