Every wedding I went the only favors I got was a box of chocolates lol

I once went to a wedding that brought personalized mini boxes that said the bride and grooms name and wedding date along with a small picture of them and they filled it up with chocolates and candies and gave them as small wedding favors to all the guest ... after I ate them I still keep the box (lol I didn’t throw it away lol) ... I thought that was very cool and verycute ... you could do that
but along with that the bride and grrom gave other things to the people that were in the wedding like the bridemaids and groomsmen ... but i dont know what it was lol sorry

I saw these really cute place card holder that doudle as fover ... they had these really cute hreats and these really cute elephants and these very cute runaway cars with a bride and groom setting in them that say Just Married on the back SOO CUTE!!!! Chocolates are a good idea but I have a couple others. For my wedding I bought a whole bunch of votive candles from Yankee Candle and put them in little beaded mesh bags. I felt this was something that people would enjoy when they got home, as many people enjoy burning candles. Another idea I thought was neat was I went to a wedding where the favor was a cookie cutter (very nice quality) attached to a "recipe of love" card. It might sound a little silly but I still have that cookie cutter and I actually do use it! Finally, I went to one wedding where the bride and groom bought small bottles of wine and had a custom label made so they gave those out as favors. It might be a little expensive but people definitely used those favors!

I can't remember ever getting a wedding favor that I didn't end up tossing. Probably the one thing I wouldn't toss would be a small box of chocolates!

Wedding favors are REALLY overrated. Seriously.
I cannot think of a single one that I actually remember really liking and wanting to hang onto.

That being said, for our wedding we did not have favors, but we did get cute little bags full of small toys, games, coloring books, and stuffed animals for all of the kids that would be there. It kept them busy, happy, and fairly quiet while the "grown-ups" socialized at the reception. It was a big hit.

Last September we went to my husbands bosses wedding. It was a huge Italian wedding and for the favors they set up on a table where you went in line and on the table were different bowls full of different candy and mints they had decorative scoops and really pretty bags and you scoop up any of the different candy that you like and then take home. I believe this was also done for the simple fact that they didn't want any one going home with something they didn't like. They also gave out bottles of Zambuca.

Agree with most of the above posting - give your guests something that they can use or eat.
Bath salts, rose petals soap, personalized mint tins, candles.
I'd stay away from picture frame because the size is usually very small. You'd have to go to special photo shops to develop pictures for that size.
Congrats!

Anything edible will most likely get eaten and leftovers can be taken home and enjoyed. My sister gave Frango chocolate mints in a personalized favor box. Those were delicious (Godiva chocolates probably has something similar).

Typically I pitch the favors...cheap candles, candy that I don't need....but two things that stick out in my mind that I actually used were 1) Bath Salts 2) Spreaders(they said "Spread the Love")... It does sound kind of cheesy but I loved them and use them all the time! Oh, and I like the coffee/tea favors

I only like are the ones that I can eat. That's why I'm going to do a candy buffet instead of favors. That way your giving people canyd and if they don't want none they don't have to take any.

My cousin had a wedding and they gave koozies. They were so cute. Her colors were pink and yellow. The koozies were pink with yellow writing. They had their names, the date, and the two rings entwined together. Their great because they are so nifty. We use ours all the time. My fiance and I were going to do this at our wedding but we are having keg beer so we decided not to. But we definitely would if we were having bottled or canned drinks. Good Luck and Congratulations!
