I played in a "wedding band" for 16 years.
In that time I did over 800 weddings.... (an average of a wedding a week, more in wedding season, less near the holidays)
There are some things I know for SURE.
1) the WOMAN makes all these decisions...
2) Baring that your BROTHER needs to come up with the
right song - (doubtful)
3) see rule #1.
Do yourself and your brother a favor...
Have the perspective bride choose. It's her day... and if she chooses he can't screw it up.

Don't know about the new ones, but here are some classics that cover a lot of genres: Bob Marley's "Satisfy my Soul", BeeGee's "More than a Woman", Foreigner's "waiting for a girl like you". Dance music: Grandmaster flash "the message", Oingo Boingo's "Dead man's Party", Prodigy's "smack my B**** Up". Kool and the Gang's "celebration". Hope any of this is usable. Congratulations to your brother, and have a blast.

here's a list of potential candidates:
'oh'what a night' (4-seasons 1976)
'good mornin beautiful'(steve holy 2002)
'dancin' on the ceiling (lionel richie 1983)
'remminicin' (little river band 1978)
'you make my dreams come true' (hall-n-oats1981)
'rock with you' (michael jackson 1979)
many of these songs may appear to be too old to your brother
but they are some of the timeless classics that had they never
came out you and your brother might have never been born :-)
seriously though, these songs have special meaning and alot
of the words could be kareokked to a loved one.
i hope i have helped and God bless you for thinking of your brother and God bles your brother and his soon-to-be bride on
their special day.
