I was thinking about using the following centerpieces at my wedding in Feb and just wanted to get peoples opinions. If you have any other ideas that would be great too

There will be long rectangle tables so Ill be placing two mirrors with different size burgundy candles and sprinkling gold confetti on the mirrors. Then Ill have pictures of my finace and I growing up in small picture frames connecting the two mirrors. It looks good in my head but not sure how it will look once layed out. All opinion would be greatly appriciated.

My mom is getting re-married and is having a very small wedding with only family. I estimate around 20 people will be there. My sister and I are planning on getting a cake as a surprise for her. How much would a nice wedding cake cost for this small a group?

The tiaras in the bridal shop are hundreds of pounds and I don't have that much to spend. I would have thought they would be less than £30 and was shocked when I saw how much they were. There must be alternatives but I don't know where to look and I want to try them on rather than buy from the internet.

So, your boyfriend goes into the Air Force. He writes you letters everyday about how much he misses you and he now knows you are the only one for him. You're naive so you and his mother (whom you are very close to) take this as a proposal. By the time he gets home, you've bought your wedding dress and picked out a setting for your engagement ring. A few months go by and you have set the date and place for the wedding, have the bridesmaids and groomsmen picked out, and the invitations may as well have already been delivered. You just don't have that setting you picked because he's broke. Another month or two goes by and he got the ring, it just isn't on that specific finger. One night, you're sitting with him watching TV and talking to his brother on the phone and he slips the ring on that finger. Doesn't say anything. Just puts it on. Doesn't even grin. What would your reaction be? (Personally, I wouldn't be too happy).

Hi all. I'm getting married in August, and I'm so sad. My mom and dad have been divorced for years and my father is in a different country. I was thinking that I would walk down the aisle by myself, but I don't know who will give me away and I don't know what to do about the father and daughter dance. People tell me to dance with a uncle or with my guy's dad. I just don't hink I would feel anything that way. Some people say skip all that, priest will not ask who will give me away, and I don't dance with anyone. But I want to! And the other day when I went to download the wedding march, I burst out crying. I can't even watch a wedding on TV without crying. I am so sensitive on this matter. I want to be like all other brides. Have my dad there...I can't get in touvh with him, that's out of the question...
Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks a bunch.

My friend has recently been proposed to, and yet I cannot seem to get excited for her because I know some of things that have occured during there relationship that he doesn't know about. Obviously it is not my place to tell him she has been unfaithful, but I just do not agree with their engagement. What should I do?

My fiance and I are excited about getting married. Since I was a little girl, I wanted a church wedding, however we cannot afford it now. I don't mind just having a small barbeque for close family and friends. I just want to know, how should I go about it. Any thoughts?

Attended a wedding recently; the bridesmaids came down the aisle in long dresses, followed by an attendant that was in a dress similiar to the bridesmaids, but the dress was shorter. Even though this bridesmaid was immediately before the bride, she went to the end of the line of the bridesmaids. After the wedding, she left last and did not have a groomsman to walk with; she walked alone. No one at the wedding could explain this, but several had seen weddings like this before. Does anyone know what this person would be? Thanks.

i'm getting married at the end of March and my brother (best man) recently returned from his tour of duty in Iraq and wants to wear his army dress uniform in the wedding. However no one else in the wedding party is in the military, except for the maid of honor and she already said she isn't wearing her uniform; in fact she told us, we didn't even have to ask her. The rest of the wedding party is going to match, same tuxes and same dresses. Should I let him wear it, or am I trying to micro-manage this wedding? Since he is my brother this is causing all sorts of hate and discontent in my family, and it seems as though the rest of my family thinks that it would be fine if he wore it, but I'm not so sure.
