I love the idea of incorporating pictures into your wedding day. I think this is a great idea. Be sure that your frames are gold though to keep with the color scheme. You can get cheap wooden frame from the dollar store and spray paint them to save some pennies because it sounds like you will need quite a few.
Best Wishes

It sounds like a nice, original idea. Maybe do a trial run and buy materials for just one to try it out to make sure you like ir or to make any changes. If it is really what you like, stick to it because flowers and all that other stuff can be expensive, and it doesn't matter what kind of centerpiece you have, people always touch them and by the end of the night they sometimes don't look how they did before. The picture is a wonderful idea, maybe find a way to have the picture displayed in more than one direction, like maybe two pictures back to back because guests on the other side of the table may pick the frame up throughout the night and mess it up. Maybe put some cute pictures, then some funny ones. I think it would be cute to maybe name the tables according to the picture. We once went to a wedding were the tables were named after famous couples, like "Barbie and Ken". Use your imagination and have fun. Congrats!

Sounds nice and looks good in my head too but as a previous answerer said..."keep it simple".
Do your idea....for the greeting table where you'll have your guest book.
Will you have a family style meal or plates made up for the guests before?
If it's family style your guests will be rearranging your centrepiece to find room for the platters of food.
The confetti... be aware it may annoy the guests and the clean up crew... save your money where you can... honestly.
Your guests will appreciate the simple elegance at their tables if you have small vases with beautiful flowers or greenery and a candle or a grouping.
'Wow them' somewhere else... like at the entrance/exit or the head table or by the bar or around the dance floor (or above it).
Good luck to you and your future spouse.
Wish you well and a happy marriage.

Sound really "busy" to me. Keep it as simple as you can. The tables will have enough on them already. I would maybe use the mirror part of your idea...with the candles....and put only one picture frame in the middle of the mirror, with a picture of the two of you.

because of the fact the recipient of a Beta from a marriage reception i do no longer purely like the belief. I liked my fish yet maximum did no longer and the bride and groom had to handle the left fish. greater effective than 0.5 have been left on the tables. no longer all and sundry needs a residing creature to take abode. We have been given some mini bottles of Liquors interior the States and added some goodies alongside with a pair of Liquor glasses in a heart formed field. The cello bins regarded very tremendously on the tables and a taped "winner" on the backside of one plate at each and each table replaced right into a fulfillment. The winner of course took abode the midsection piece. an excellent sort of excellent suggestions different than fish. We had a impressive wedding ceremony for purely over $5,000

I think your idea sounds nice..so your colors are gold and burgandy? Heres a different version of your idea. How about one large candle arrangement in the center of the table with the pics of you and your new husband..all grown up, then on either side of the large centerpiece..at the opposite ends of the table, have smaller mirrior and candle arrangements..one with a pic of you as a child...and the other with his pic as a child.

That is very similar to what we did at our wedding, except we didn't think of the pictures. I think that's a great idea. I really loved our centerpieces because they weren't really tall, so people were able to see and talk to the person sitting across from them.

That sounds very pretty, what about also getting M&M's and put them on the table..I know there are some "bulk" candy places that have M&M's in probably every color you can think of.
