The tiaras in the bridal shop are hundreds of pounds and I don't have that much to spend. I would have thought they would be less than £30 and was shocked when I saw how much they were. There must be alternatives but I don't know where to look and I want to try them on rather than buy from the internet.

Hi, Ive been having the same problem, in getting a tiara for my wedding in July and i know they are really expensive. But i looked about and in Debenhams they have some lovely ones and gorgeous jewellery to and they are about £30. Also the have childrens too. I agree with you to not buy from the internet as you wont know what it looks like on. I think some jewellers may sell them too.

I bought mine in Brixton market and it looked really nice, no point spending too much money on something you'll never wear again. There is a bridal shop near Brixton train station not underground and even the ear rings look real. Save your money for a decent honeymoon or something for your new home. Congrats for being a sensible girl. Wish you all the happiness with your hubby.

You can get really nice ones on eBay and they don't seem very expensive. Some may be available as Buy It Now items, so a fixed price.

With all due respect cheap & tacky do go hand in hand. You get what you pay for in this world. P.S. Can't you hire one for the "big" day.
