I'm getting married in 2008 and I would like a summer wedding but I don't have tons of money to throw away on a wedding. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Depends on where you live, too. In a sunny place like California, it's busy now.
Remember too, you'll pay more for 7pm on a Saturday, and near ANY holiday.

Depends what part of the country you are in. Here in NY/NJ June and October are the most popular months. From my experience, July and August are just slightly cheaper (and I mean JUST slightly, the per plate cost was only 10 dollars less). I am getting massive savings by getting married on a Friday instead of Saturday. The reception venue charged $245 a person for a Saturday night affair and $145 for a Friday night. I'm getting every single menu item and # of courses that a Saturday would have too. Just a thought.

Well it depends on what part of the country you are living. In the Northeast September and October are just as big as June and July. Early May is the month I would go for. Good Luck!

Alright I dont know if you have thought about this BUT if you do a December wedding....decorations are sooo easy and affordable and you and your family prolly already have them....I just went to a wedding where in the hall they just had chirstmas trees.all diff sizes with lights...if looked sooo pretty! They also did a hearty meal, salad soup and chili and chocolate fountain, cake..*I would suggest more to eat than what they had though* ALSO the church is prolly already decorated for Christmas....all they did was add candles! Good luck

any month can be cheap,it depends on what you want and stuff like that..if you want a huge wedding it's gonna cost..they say the one way to cut the expense down is to get married on a friday, early in the day for the ceremony, try and make as some things yourself, favors, table centerpieces, bouquets and such

those are all months in the busy season so it won't make much difference. The TYPE of wedding makes much more difference then the season anyway.
