David's Bridal is pretty universal. If you aren't going for a true bridal gown I would suggest Chadwick's catalog. Do you want an actual 'bridal' gown or are you more looking for a nice formal? Also, try e-bay or a consignment shop. The consignment shops here have very very excellent condition (much less expensive) gowns.

I bought a beautiful simple gown from jcrew.com - I think these are appropriate for any age because they are simple and elegant. If you top that with a nice white jacket or hat, I think it will be very appropriate.

Try David's Bridal...They have a large selection of dresses for all kinds of formal occasions.

You might want to look in the "Mother of the Bride" section.

That's subjective. What I consider "age-appropriate sexy" you may not & visa versa.

if you can't find a "sexy" gown that you like, go with something classy. You can always wear the "sexy" underneath! :)
