My fiance started a job a short time ago. He told his bosses that he needed certian days off to get married and leave for his honeymoon. His one boss, my best freind obviously oked the time off. (She is going to be in the wedding) His other boss just had to agree because of my best freind.

My freind has been planning on leaving her job for some time and was going to give the position to me. I wasn't aware til last night, but she's already left her job. I was under the impression that she was not going to leave til Jan. when I am supposed to start this job myself.

Well she did leave and now the one lady is left completely "in charge" of the employees. My fiance came home last night telling me that THIS boss (not my freind) was asking him to work the day of our wedding. (THIS saturday)

Not only that she says that he is a great worker and wants him to come in during the two weeks of our honeymoon.

Im not working there yet, and I can't start sooner then planned of course

My fiance and I are planning a June '07 wedding and still cannot find a reception site. We want a site on Lake MI as close to the beach as possible...indoor or outdoor, that can accommodate around 150 people. I am starting to worry, because the available websites have few listings in SW Michigan. I would appreciate any suggestions, because I am out of state and am planning a wedding near family.

My mother-in-law has asked many times to see the list of presents my husband and I received for our wedding. I am sort of OK sending just the gift list, but she wants to see the list of gifts alongside the person who gave the gift.

I think this isn't her concern and is an inappropriate thing to do to the people who gave us gifts. My husband says: if it's so important to her, what's the big deal to give her the full list?

She gave us some financial help for the wedding. I don't think this matters, but maybe it does. What is the etiquette here (if any)?

I've never been married before but my fella has been married twice. Both times he was married was in a registry office. This time he wants it to be special! However, we don't know how to go about finding a church that will marry someone who's been divorced without going around every church in the area!!! We're hoping to get married Autumn 2007 if we can get everything arranged by then - but the church is the main thing on the list!!!

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST ANYTHING????

Also, any assistance with anything else you think we'll need to look into to solve this problem would be gratefully aappreciated!?!?!?

i want to go and get married to my fiance, and we'd rather just go to the JP and have a simple civil ceremony. i need to know what i need to do so, if anything. i mean, do i just got there... wherever there is and pay em and have em do it? or what? do they provide the marriage license or do i have to do that somewhere else? im not sure, and a little confused and dont have anyone to ask.

I was married before and am currently planning a wedding to my high school sweetheart. I got my original dress out to show him. Just for fun, it is several yrs old. He loves it and wants me to wear it. I am not sure about it. Partly because my mom picked it out, also I wore it to marry someone else. Lastly, I am older than then and had wanted to get something more sophisticated. I know it would save alot of money. HELP, what should I do?
