Hey dude, are you in love or not. It appears you have issues because if you were really in love, you wouldn't care what we all thought about Alice as it is not us who know her better, but you. Marriage is a life commitment issue and one has to be totally sure not to experiment. So if you are in love with Alice, then propose marriage to her, but if you are in doubt, don't ask her.
