I think the Italy theme would be fantastic....Like Rome Or Venice...ever been to Vegas? You could go to the Venation and get some good Italian theme things there. Your wedding will be absolutely gorgeous!

I think that's cool. I did a traditional theme in church, and hawaiian luau at reception. If you already know a lot about Italy, you can put that info to use. Or look up on internet all kinds of things about Italy, weddings, romance. Sorry not much help, put I do think that's a cool idea. One thing I do know, don't let others pressure you or push you to do certain things the way they want. The wedding only happens once so it needs to be what you and hubby to be wants. Paint your own picture.Sky's the limit. Focus on what's important to you. From the big things all the way to engraving your names on cake knive:) Good luck!

Italy Sounds good to me.

Other things are Disney themes.
Flower Themes.
Holiday Themes.
Season Themes.
Music Themes.

Watch the wedding stories and read about them for theme ideas. Ask people who have already been married what they did if they had a theme.

I am doing Cinderella in April and very excited.

Congrats hope you find the perfect theme.

Maybe you could go princess or medieval and get married in a castle. Are their any in Italy?

an italian Rennaisaince wedding would be fun!! plus you can play with colours, dresses, even the ceremony more than you can with a traditional ceremony!! (i'm having a Robin Hood & Maid Marian themed wedding, and it's tons of fun!!!! we're even wrting our own ceremony!!) plus it helps you pick more ideas that are personal to you. if there's a Ren. fest by you, this is a great place to find clothing. if not, here's some sites that could be helpful:
www.fashionsintime.com www.threadsoftime.com www.verymerryseamstress.com www.renstore.com also, Museum Replicas has lots of clothing (and weapons) and decorations like tapestires you could use. and decorating is easy, especially if it's outdoors!! if you decide to go with this idea, feel free to email me: i've got tons of helpful sites for medieval/renaissance themed weddings or parties!
good luck!!! and congrats!

good question. it all depends on where you live. if already in Italy, forget about Italian theme, take rather an Eskimo one. I like your saying "price is no object" once I uttered it in a restaurant --among friends and they remained friends as long as I paid the bill. (a lesson i did not forget) back to yours now--a theme there are tens, if you are in a warm climate and want to marry while warm...outside...make it a garden party a la Mexican with mariachis and lights and tequila, and Mexican food to go along. why not? price is no object. you can just choose any ground you like besides mexican atmosphere is also a latin atmosphere like the Italian one-- a nice wedding is my last wish, on this answer.

If you wish to go with an Italian theme...research Tuscany style...possibly being married in an outdoor wedding at a vineyard, or near a river where gondola rides are provided for your guests

An Italian theme would be very nice. I would look at holiday pics to inspire your wedding colours and look in pics for easy to knock off decorating ideas.

well having an italian theme would be great, but it would be much more colorful if you can have something interesting or unique , for example will say like ancient rome dress code or something,
