My wife to be's father had an affair for thirty years and has fallen out with a lot of the family who he does not speak to any more, my fiance and I started speaking to him again, he see's our children even though it upsets others in the family. By inviting him it may upset others i.e her mother and sisters who she is very close to. She wants her father to walk her down the isle but she doesnt want an atmospher on our day, she doesnt want to fall out with her dad again but wants everyone else to enjoy the day, do we upset 1 person or potentially 5or 6? Or alternativley do we take our 2 little boys away and get married in secret and risk upsetting both our families?

I trust him but his best friend is the classic scum bag, they have done things together in the past with women and I honestly am so sick over whatever is going to go down I'm thinking of canceling the wedding. Does every guy cheat at the bachelor party and how am I supposed to just be cool with the whole ritual? any advice

i have cheated on him in the past and i know i would never do it again, is there anyway i can trust him again? i know its going to be hard with no confidence, and that im living far away from friends. my boyfriend has an anger problem when i acuse him of something, im not always like this but its just his so friend with girls coz his kind bloke and soft hearted.

As shallow & superficial as this will sound but i just want to know your thoughts on this. I am 24 & in a long term relationship with my boyfriend and its pretty much marriage material. The thing is that I am not really physically attracted to him but I think I do love him..I mean, what is love really??..I think the reason I'm staying is because I don't really want to go back into all that dating/single drama again. And also he is financially very well off which is something i guess all women want.. I don't want to be worried/stressed about bills/morgage payments etc in the future. I don't think I believe in love. I think if you stay with a person long enough you will grow to like (love) them..I know i sound cynical/pessimistic/stupid even..but thats how i feel. But I do have brothers who I would give my life for..I guess thats Love..When you will give your own happiness for another? What are your thoughts/advice on this? Anyone in the same situation? Or have been where I've been?

We have a son together and he is 1 and my daughters and us all live together, yet he tells other lies like "we are a family"....yes true but ...he says I will never ever ever marry you ever. I am 38 and I find that being married to him and having our family very important and he says it is not important to him and that I love him more than he does and says stuff like if you did not love me as much or did not beg me for sex then maybe I would just maybe I would get married...but to be honest he tells me that he is never ever going to marry me. He was engaged to a really nice lady and she said yes to him but he was the one that broke it off and left her one day while she was at a store...I wonder if he is going to do that to me? I feel hurt and used and embarrassed because my family who is a very tarditional loving family asks me all the time so when are you 2 getting married?? I do not really say much but it makes me embarrassed because I have cousins that make fun of me.

is ok to have doubts about the one you love?..like: am i sure i do love him, when he makes me go crazy because a stupid litlte mistake?
we talk about kids, spend all the time toghether, just sleeping apart..
sometimes, i get worryed, maybe i am not loving him, maybe it is a mistake, it is first time when i am in this kind of serious engagement, and, i think i am not sure...but, also i know i miss him, everytime he pass across my door, going to his house...

I am getting my five bridesmaids engraved bracelets as a gift. However, for two of my girls (my sisters), I have no idea what their wrist sizes are!! My mom (amazingly enough) doesn't know, I don't know any of their friends, neither of them have boyfriends, and there's literally NO ONE left that I can ask to see if they know (and I have asked EVERYONE). So I have to find out on my own. The bracelets are being specially made, and it will be difficult and costly to have them resized. So if I really want to get them these specific bracelets (and I really, really, do, they're beautiful!), how can I get their wrist size without being obvious? (It can be a general wrist size, but I don't want it to be way too small or way too big.)

My wedding is in 9 weeks. My bridesmaids need to order their dresses at least 6 weeks before the wedding. The thing is, they all need alterations, and if they don't order their dresses by the end of the month, they won't have enough time before the wedding to have all of their alterations done. Two of my maids are out of state in college, one lives on the other end of the state, one lives out of state, and I'm not worried about the last one, she's good to go.

They've been waiting for the $20 discount that they get if I order my dress instead of buying it off the rack. Is it ok to politely tell them that if they don't order their dresses by 9/30, they can't be in the wedding? Because, honestly, if they don't order them soon, they won't get them in time for the wedding!!

i have these question: i love my man and he loves me, we are 26 and 29. both of us had previoous relations, and we know how kids appear. well, he told me he do not wish to make love before we will get marry, because he loves me too much, and do not want to make a mistake, in front of god.
