Was there a song you both really liked or meant something special to you when you were kids?

My friend used Somewhere over the Rainbow, she and her dad aren't close so she didn't want anything mushy.

A friend to me , by Garth Brooks.
You and me we're buddies and we've been since we first met
Me and you well we've sure been through are share of laughter and regret
Lord know's we've had are bad days and more than once we've disagreed, but you've always been a friend to me.
Chorus
You've always been time and again the one to take my hand, showing me it's ok to be just the way I am, with no apologies.
You can be so stubborn there's times I think you just like to fight, and I hope and pray I live to see the day when you say I might be right, Lord knows I rather kill you then listen to your honesty, but you've always been and you will till God knows when, yes you've always been a friend to mee.

It is a really nice song and you can dance to it. Look it up on itunes and listen to the beat, there is more to the song, but that is all I can remember right now good luck.

"He Ain't Heavy, He's My brother" by the Hollies

General music without a theme:
"Wind Beneath My Wings" by Bette Midler
"Unforgettable" - Nat & Natalie Cole
"What A Wonderful World" - Louis Armstrong
"Times Of Your Life" - Paul Anka
"Through the Years" by Kenny Rogers
"Forever Young" by Rod Stewart
"Whenever I call you Friend" by Kenny Loggins
"The Way You Look Tonight" by Elton John
"How Sweet it is" by James Taylor
"I'll Always Love You" by Taylor Dayne
"Woman" by John Lennon
"Holding Back the Years" by Simply Red
"It Had To Be You" by Harry Connick, Jr.

Just any song that you two like and that has meaning for you. You could also look at song sugesstions for the attendents, many of them are about friends, love, support, and other non-romantic themes.
