If you are looking for a warm climate to go and not to expensive I would suggest going to either Playa De Carmen, Mexico or go to the Nassau, Bahamas. These places are both nice in the winter months and the are also all inclusive. But as others may suggest if you are getting married in December why not go to like Colorado and stay in a lodge with a fire place and your own personal hot tub. If you choose the right spot you could find the natural hot springs and cuddle up in them. Hope that helps

Canary Islands - Lanzarote for example is only 80km from the coast of Africa so it's nice and warm that time of year. I went in earlyJanuary one year and it was a bit like May or June in the UK although only about 20c or so. I have not been to any of the other Canaries but I hear Fuerteventura is quieter than Lanzarote, and Gran Canaria is bigger than either so there may be more to do.
If you go to Lanzarote, I recommend the hotel Coronas Playa - no children under 16 and the food was fantastic.

Flagler Beach Florida is a very small, very quiet oceanside community with several romantic small hotels, inns, bed & breakfasts. There is not a lot a going on in Flagler, but the beach is beautiful and not crowded, The Pier has good food with an ocean view, and it doesn't have the 'out of this world' prices of Marco Island or Amelia. Flagler is on Florida's east coast between Daytona and St Augustine. The C of C has a fairly informative web site. Congratulations!

depends where you are based, but The Dominican republic is not too expensive. Also places like Majorca are supposed to have sunshine all year round, but I am not sure what the weather would be like in December

My husband and i went to Jamaica. Dun river Sandals Resort. We spent 7 Days and 5 Night there and everything was included. Food, entrainment, drinks. We had the best time for $3,200. We also go married there. That did not even cost us anything and i had my own wedding planner. We can not wait to go back. The people are awesome.
