When I say "in the wedding", I mean a groomsman or a bridesmaid, not an usher or a hostess. And of course, it's all contingent on the fact that you, your sibling and your spouse have a good relationship and all. I only have one brother and it was understood that he was going to be as groomsman, just like my husbands brothers were understood to be groomsmen as well.

I'm getting married September 2007 and was thinking about using turquoise as my color...do you have any suggestions for the flowers?? I was thinking of a dark orange since it will be in early fall. Or should I just use orange and fall colors (i.e. red, yellow) instead of turquoise? It seems like it's a hard color to match!! I would like to be unique...any suggestions would be great!!!!

I'm getting married 09/30/06 and would like to get two of my close friends who have helped me out with the wedding something relatively inexpenive that is also special and/or personal. Any ideas?

Additional Info:
One of the girls has planned and prepared my bridal shower and she is also singing the first dance song that my fiance and I will dance to. (she has a beautiful voice)

My other friend has helped me shop for my wedding dress and has been a great deal of support and help in the wedding preparations.

Why is this a big deal. Why does Robin McGraw think that this is the wedding of year/ the century. Wouldn't the money have been better spent donated to a charitable organization. What do you think. I am disgusted.

We are having a simple wedding with a fingerfood reception, however, I want it to be an elegant reception. I was wondering if anyone knew of any cute fingerfood that would be cheap to make or buy. Also, I am completely new to a wedding - I have looked on websites but nothing is really telling me anything. Can someone please tell me play by play so to speak about the ceremony - or a traditional ceremony to be more specific, and also about the reception. This is my first wedding and my parents and my fiances parents havent planned a wedding (they just had a simple one) so I am needing like a LOT of help with this. If you have great ideas and templates for programs and invitations etc etc I would LOVE for you to email me. I am so lost on this stuff. All I know is a few simple things. Only nice and respectful answers please!!! Thanks so much.

We are going on our honeymmon on the 25th of Oct. to disneyworld. I would like to have something special delivered to our room like a gift basket etc. Can anybody give me ideas of what to get or should it just be a generic basket from a local company.

I've looked in the yellow pages already, but I know there's got to be more out there. I just don't know how to go about finding the right people.

I got married in November, 2005. My photographer promised my video would be ready by May and my photo album would be ready by June. It's August - 9 months after the wedding and I still don't have a video or photo album. Is this normal???

I think that my name will be changed after the wedding, but wouldn't it be easier if I just waited until after the honeymoon to change my name? I don't want any confusion... how should I handle? Should I get everything switched before the wedding, or wait until I get back from the honeymoon?

My husband and I are married civilly only, which means of course by the court. We are planning to get married by the church, so, we do not want to have anything big, like a big ceremony or anything of that sort because we actually had it when we got married civilly. What do you recommend? We could go out to eat that day with our family or such as we had thought, but are not sure what to do. On the other hand, we have thought of just keeping it sweet and simple and just inviting the family to church and go eat or something afterwards. Any suggestions appreciated.
