We were wondering if we decided to get married while on the ship, does the captain of the ship have the authority to perform the wedding ceremony and would the marriage be legal and binding once we got back to port?

I'm getting him a watch to give him on the wedding day (I know it's something he wants.) But I can't figure out which one... If you could recommend a specific watch or brand of watch please do. I'm looking for something with a steel, silver or white gold band.. and would spend up to $500 if I felt it was worth it. This is for a 30 year old professional.

I am getting married on Sept 16th. There was recently a problem with our wedding party. My two flower girls father told myself and my fiancee to find someone else to do it so I did. Now it has come up that they can once agian be in the wedding. I don't want to completely leave them out of the wedding because they really want to do it but I don't want to remove the flower girl that I got to replace them or take any attention away from her.. Any ideas on something they could do (we are having a small backyard wedding with about 100 people maybe)

It is driving my crazy, I think I am becoming a Bridezilla really. My family is crazy. All I want is the prefect wedding with no problems and here it is.

Does anyone know of any good websites, books or other resources on "scripts" (for lack of a better word) for Christian weddings? We've got a number of Scripture passages in mind, but I'm trying to help them come up with a "big picture" approach, and we're not having much luck. He and his bride-to-be were actually married 30 years ago, got divorced after about three years, and now they've come back together. They'd like to emphasize the "forever" aspect of their newly rekindled relationship. This is the first wedding I'll be performing, so I'm open to any suggestions anyone may have.
