He really looks up to me and my fiance and we want him to be able to be in the wedding. We just don't know what to have him do. He has been a ring bearer before, so we kinda wanted him to have something else to do this time. He is capable of doing anything we would ask of him.

Have you ever heard of a Junior Groomsman (like a Junior Bridesmaid)? Would it be strange to have him on my fiance's side during the ceremony?

What are some other things besides those two that I mentioned that he could do in the wedding?

Something creative would be nice!
Thanks! :)

My fiance and I are planning a semi-formal summer evening wedding next year. We just now realized that, unless we see eachother before the ceremony, our pictures will have to be taken after dark or right at dusk and we have been wanting daytime pictures all along. We don't want to see eachother before the ceremony because of traditional reasons (a.k.a. BAD LUCK, not that we really believe that, but we like tradition). How can we have an evening ceremony and still have our pictures during the sunlight hours? This seems like a really dumb question the more I type. lol

I mentioned to him that we should just move the ceremony up a couple of hours even though we wanted a sunset ceremony. That seems like our only option as of now. Do you have any ideas?

Any help would be appreciated!!! :)

How do you handle things when almost all of your close friends decline your invitation to your engagement party and their reasoning is that one or the other has to work, can't find a babysitter, don't want to bring the baby, etc. Even our maid of honor and best man (who are married declined because he is working...we told them to come late but they said they don't have anyone to watch the baby and they can't bring him cuz he needs to be in his own bed)..am i too picky or should they show? Also, them and another couple we went to all their wedding parties and celebrations....do we tell them how hurt we are, keep them in the wedding party, etc. I don't know how to handle so many people we expected to come who declined. We had to narrow down 230 people to 80 and only 35 are showing up...what to do?

I have looked for the subscription online, but can't find it.

Do they even offer it as a subscription, or are there so few issues each year that it really wouldn't make sense to have it as a subscription?

Just curious. :)

My girlfriend just got engaged and she told me that her ring is a cubic circonium. She told me it's quite common and these days you can't tell it apart from the real thing. Do any of you have a CZ engagement ring?

What can I get for my friends? They're 21 and 24. I don't want to get the traditional toaster, blender, etc. I want to get them something that they aren't going to get from everyone else. Any suggestions?

I have been engaged since about May this year. Is it too late to have an engagement party? Do you have to have one? I would like to have a small party to celebrate but my fiance isn't acting very motivated about it and I don't have any really close friends and practically no family but he has a big family and lots of friends. . . Should I just not worry about it?

OK, so my mom died in 2003, and my dad has had 3 girlfriends since then, two of which us "kids" actually liked. Now, he's marrying one of them, a cruel Brazilian woman. We tell him all the time how much we hate her, and he totally lashes out saying how we are just some "smartass teenagers", and that we don'tknow anything and he's marrying her anyway and we have to deal with her for the rest of our lives. She doesn't even like us. She o0bviously doesn't understand that we aren't just kids and that we are normal people with feelings and lives that we would prefer not be ruined. One day, we were talking about my braces, and how much they cost us. When my dad's fiance heard how much they cost, ashe said: "WHAT?!You paid THAT much money just for THEM?! They're only kids!" My dad told her that braces are not just cosmetics, and that everyone needs them to be healthy. Her Visa expired years ago, and i've thought about getting her deported, but mydad toldme that if i did, he would thro me out.

I am engaged and I am planning my wedding. I dont have a lot of money, no father to give me away, so i want a small wedding. My dad isnt dead, he just doesnt like the guy im marrying. Anyways. Does anybody have any good ideas for flowers, cake, a place to get married, etc. I live in Los Angeles. Im really wanting a nice wedding. My budget for a wedding is under 1200 dollars. I dont think a lot of people will come either. No ones happy about me getting married.......but that's besides the point. I am really excited about getting married. Should I do the whole Vegas thing or should I do something nice. Any ideas about planning my wedding is helpful. Thanks.

Does anybody know of any good and reliable websites that I would be able to purchase a wedding dress from? I'm really trying to save some money and I heard this would be cheaper. Thanks!

Ok, I am printing up my wedding invite envelopes (I know tacky, only reasonably priced choice concidering our handwriting) and I am inviting a woman from work and her husband. Now, normally I would address it as Mr and Mrs Smith BUT she kept her maiden name, both names are long and won't fit on the envelope without the font being very small. Should I still address it to Mr and Mrs. Smith or should I just use the small font and get both their names in? While waiting for answers I am going to fiddle around with the program and see if I can make it so that they do fit. Thanks for helping me out!!!

My fiance and I are starting to make purchases for our wedding, and we have heard of people getting a credit card to make the wedding purchases and getting some kind of reward, cash back, bonus, or free airline miles.

Has anyone heard of this? Where should I look or how should I search to find out which one to go with? Thanks for your help!
