we planned everything... good thing we got packages...
the caterer provided the cake, plus all the food, flowers and set up for us... the designer included the wedding arrhae, garter, pouch, veil, cord, pillows, guest book for the wedding plus service during the wedding for the wearing of the gown...we got the rings from a jeweller, the souvenirs from the wedding library, photographer and videographers included a framed photo for us, with a signature frame, 3 albums, a video, wedding and prenuptial shots.. we did walked all the papers, went to every seminar that we need to attend... we went to wedding summits and got chocolate fountain for our wedding a trio to play for our wedding and reception... about the venue, they provided the bridal room for us and even gave us the carriage ride free....
well, it's not really that hard to plan it, you'll have more time with your fiancee and enjoy making decisions for your wedding...
Godbless you both on your wedding...

Actually the part of the wedding that I did leave to a professional was the music that was played before, during and after the wedding ceremony. My friend Martha was the organist and I told her play whatever you feel will be appropriate. I had no idea what would be good or what the names of the pieces were, so leaving it to her was great. Everyone commented on how wonderful the music was.

i wish that i had left it all to a professional as my husbands friends interfered so much they ruined it, i got to the point where i was going to call it off. at least with professionals they will do what it is in your budget and what you ask them to do instead of your other half listening to other peoples advice and acting upon it despite what you might think , in all honesty it is better for you and your other half to work as a team and agree or compromise on everything otherwise it could end up with either one of you hating the other one for ruining your perfect day and unfortuanately you cant turn the clocks back

I planned my wedding and it was so amazing that my guests said I should help others planning their weddings. So, now I do. www.iydevents.com
Just know who you are doing business with. Take time in planning. Relax and enjoy your day.

We actually did quite well planning the wedding ourselves. However, if I were to do it over again, I would hire a professional photographer.

I did not plan for any of it. Like a nightmare of hellish proportions it descended upon me and after waves of tafta and rose petals, I succumbed to a life laden with despair and contempt.
Run my man, run as fast as you can. The succubus of a woman you so lovingly are about to call your bride will void you of any joy and pleasure for the rest of your life.
P.S. What's wrong with you people giving me thumbs down. If you have no sense of humor you'll never survive marriage.

The whole damn circus would have been better off planned by an animal trainer and a serial killer.
