Because they are AWESOME! Wedding are one of the few occasions in life when the whole family is together. So obviously everyone is going to get drunk and do stupid things...so the family can talk about it for years to come!!! My brother does 'the worm' at every wedding...so in my book, the moonwalk is nothing! =0)

I am 29 and a woman... and I do the moonwalk and cabbage patch sober...at weddings and sometimes in the supermarket.
Seriously, someone took a picture of me car dancing yesterday... hmmmm.... maybe I should get drunk first??

Theyre brains are fuddled with alcahol. Thats the last thing they remember doing.
Do not show them a calendar/dated newspaper when in this state it will freak them out. Only when sober, they have to be brought back into the year 2k, slowly. start with digital watches..it'll all come back, slowly.

Cause they are usually the only ones there who aren't that far up their own backsides wondering what others are thinking or bitching about how others are dressed, some people do know how to have a good old knees up, hope you get to that age to have one yourself.

This is precisely the reason we chose to have our reception at our church. No one would expect alcohol, and we wouldnt have to expect them to handle their alcohol.
