Our best man said something about having Three L's for a succesful marriage. He went on about Love, then went on about Laughter and summed it up with a little Liquor. It got a lot of laughs. Now, we got married in Key West....so the speech was perfect.

wow I just finished my communications class!!!
just make sure you write a tribute to the bride and groom! Throw in a joke if you like, but keep it tasteful.
wish them luck and a happy future ( no matter how many months you have given them).
;)
no matter what, practice makes better! ( there is no such thing as a perfect speech, just an awesome speech).
5-8 mins max. And of course don't mention the previous marriage! ;)
good luck.

Wow, boy have you procrastinated! *grin* How about "I'm really glad to be a part of this wonderful occasion. I remember when (positive memory of the bride and groom before they were married) and now I'm happy to see my best friend settle with his beautiful wife. Blessings on both of you and I hope you have a long happy life together!"
Easy enough?

On my first anniversary, I got my girlfriend a new blender... that didn't go over so well. The next year I took her for a romantic weekend at a bed and breakfast, and that made her much happier. I'm going with choice B, a romantic weekend away from home.
