I am almost 30 years old, single, straight, work full time, go to graduate school and I live at home with my parents and other adult siblings. I have absolutley no interest in moving out and getting an apartment or house unless I have to. I don't have to pay any rent or expenses except for some incidentals like gas and entertainment. Sometimes I don't even have to pay for entertainment as our parents treat us to vacations once in a while, etc. The way I see it is that it's the least they could do for us after all the years of joy we have given them in raising us! LOL, they get a kick out of that when I say that. Anyway, I digress, we all know how to cook, clean and pay bills, we just don't have to as of this moment. Our parents say, "You will have the rest of your life to do that, no need to do that now. Focus on your education!" Our parents are not dirtbags like some parents are; they don't try to "give us hints" or marry us off. In fact they think it's wise that I am single.

You own your own home, and say you were in a relationship with a man that also owns his own home. You home is the newer of the two, but smaller. He does not wish to 'get rid' of his 'big' house to move in with you. You do not wish to leave your house. You do his laundry and he takes most of his showers at your house. Does not pay you for the water, but does take your garbage to his house. You really do care for this man, but on the other hand, you know that things are not going to change. Would you want out, or would you stay in this type of relationship?!

Earlier on this year I went out with a lovely boy after he asked me out, but the relationship only lasted about a month. I broke up with him as I felt the spark we had, disappeared (this I found later on was mainly the fault of our exams). The breakup got out of hand & we were not on speaking terms for around two months. Eventually I plucked up the courage to talk to him again & now we're alright again.

He's now going out with a girl in my form who has hated me for the past five years since we knew each other. She likes to subtly flaunt the fact that she is going out with my ex-boyfriend.

Recently I've been thinking about the moments me and him have had together - and I think I'm beginning to like him again. Is it just jealousy? Or not? How can I stop it and sort myself out?

If you tell me to go and find another boy, boys in the past who I have liked only seem to want to be friends with me.

I don't know what to think or what to do. Help would be much appreciated - thank you

My girl friend (maybe ex) called me and starting saying my ex husband tells me what a wonderful woman I had, you on line talking to these women (never went out with them. Now you tell me how much you miss me, after the fact. A man she ment on line, now doesn't call her, because he's going with old, wrinkled whore. After the fact. If he calls Im not going to speak to him. I listen, and told her Im sorry, but never went with any women. I care and love her and will not sway. I've learned my lesson. Was it good that Iisten to here vent. Was it good what I told her. I bought her a nice xmas gift. a qct diamond pendant, on 14 ct white gold. She has it already, and for her birthday, I got tickets to see Wicked. what do you say

I love a girl but we're just friends(have told her more than a year ago but she said just wanna be friends, but she has changed toward me). But she teases me often and often do funny things, like pointing out her tongue to tease me and doodling on my paper. She seems to treat me differently by teasing me a lot and sometimes pretending to be mean to me. But she's kind to me and helps a lot. We're in a lot of same school stuff. There are actually a lot of funny sweet memorable things that she did to me (like those teases). A few times I asked her to join me in school clubs/stuff and she agreed.

But there's this other guy who likes her too and sometimes they talk although the conversations reduce over time (they talk more a few months ago). They talk not much but she seems to be interested in talking to him, though she doesn't make attempts to see him and be with him and don't joke around with him. I'm not sure if she texts or chats with him.

Today I got the news that that other boy is planning a hanging out with my class (me and that girl in same class). From his class only a few join. I heard from a friend that the girls in my class are joining and I assume that he asked her first. Should I come? I hang out with her in groups quite often though...

What should I do? I decide not to join...is it right? And say she agreed, she really likes him?

Like, if your on the train or something, and you see this guy/girl you really like and like, your really like "wow she/he's really fit/pretty and cute! and looks like a kind caring person" ...and stuff like that.

Well...how would you end up asking them out or going out with them? I don't get it, i know i'm only 14 and that...but i'm just wondering, wouldn't it be embarrasing just going up to them and going "Hey, can i have your number?" or "Hey there, your really pretty" ...and then say he/she just walked off.

Cause, all relationships don't start from both people already knowing each other, do they?

Thanks, Merry Christmas everyone, Happy Holidays.

Well met a young gal, she is 18, met her in an adult chatroom, she seems to be a nice gal as person but she is looking for sex, im 31 and i kinda lead her away from the forum and the lifestyle, as a guy i know she is legal but the conscience deep inside me saying she is young and she is there for the wrong reason,

Am i being stupid to tell her subtlely that what she is doing is kinda wrong

I kinda told her that love would bring good sex to her

Am i being over protective and do you think 18 is ok for someone for wanting a master ?

This is the 2007 and ppl should be responsible for their acts rite ?

Im kinda in the middle here, at times i feel like im robbing the cradle, sometimes she looks like a grown women but sometimes there is this thing in the back of my head that keep screaming she is not quite the women yet, Do you think 18 is allrite or am i being a pervert, but arghhhhhhhhhhh

Why is it that you girls will give us guys your number, talk to us for a little while, keep us hanging on dates, and make up the lamest excuses about your "busy schedule". I had a girl tell me once that, its because there don't want to hurt our feelings. I would feel a whole lot better if I was told at first hand your not interested, and it would save me a lot of time and effort. Its not like I'll start crying. Its nerve wecking too ask for your numbers to me. What are your girls reasons for doing so.

Advice from a guy - If your not interested just say so, we can handle it. don't get our hopes up.

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 4 years now and we are just not getting along. We fight over the fact that he just doesn't have a ton of sympathy if I get upset over something. It's usually us fighting over me asking him to do something. I believe that I shouldn't have to ask him to do things around the house. Also, since it's Christmas I was upset that his friend called me to ask me what I wanted for Christmas and it was the Friday before. I was buying him gifts in November. There has also been talks of engagement and although I know we are in no position to become engaged I am still resentful of no ring yet. I don't know what to do. Why am I hung up on the engagement crap?? Help !!!!!

i was raised catholic, very strict parents, no dating alowed in highschool, and kept my word. College came, too busy studying and kept same moral values. im mid 20s now, with a science degree and want to have a boyfriend but dont know how? i have never been kissed, my friends tell me i need to learn how to flirt. i dont have many guy friends for the same reasons that they intimidate me. People tell me im preatty, even though im 20 lbs overweight, but i see people uglier/preatier/ heavier than me with boyfriends. help please! i was sexually molested as a 7 yr old by a man visiting our family, so i dont know if psychologically im staying away. i know im attracted to men.

I was married for 20 years. Last 15, stayed together for kids. Feel extreemely good having made the decision. Kids are doing great. They are mostly with me. My wife (ex) was an angry person and never satisfied. She verbally abused the kids and me. We are all glad she is gone.

I don't think I will ever have the courage to get married again. I do however, like women very much. I have a few problems though. Between the kids homework, house work, and paying the bills. there isn't much time left for anything else. Also, I am not sure how someone will feel if I am upfront about my desire never to get married. Do women even consider such relationships or they just want someone to grow old with? Like to hear from men and women who are in similar situations.

I don't get it! I knew she was staring at me because I could see her head turning at the corner of my eye, then I would look over and catch her looking then she would look away from me, but then the same thing will happen again only this time she starts complaining! What type of 'game' is this?
