Why is it that you girls will give us guys your number, talk to us for a little while, keep us hanging on dates, and make up the lamest excuses about your "busy schedule". I had a girl tell me once that, its because there don't want to hurt our feelings. I would feel a whole lot better if I was told at first hand your not interested, and it would save me a lot of time and effort. Its not like I'll start crying. Its nerve wecking too ask for your numbers to me. What are your girls reasons for doing so.
Advice from a guy - If your not interested just say so, we can handle it. don't get our hopes up.

I like these responses, but to get deeper in this topic, I have had three different girls already in a row flake out on dates with me. They schedule it with me and I never see them, they dont pick up there phones, or even get a call back. Man I have bad luck lol

It can happen also if a girl wants to make a guy try better. There is a possibility that she told you about busy schedule because she wanted to check how much effort you are able to make to date her.
On the other hand, it can be that she just isn't interested. I will tell you why. :) Girls just love when men pay attention for them. Girls would like to feel that they are being 'achieved'.

Hey, guess what? Sometimes girls just want to give you shot. They are interested in getting to know you, but it does not have to always work out. And there is no reason to "break things off" or tell you everything that they don't like about you. It's just not necessary if you aren't in a relationship.
Trust me, you don't need all the hate and reasoning behind a girl deciding she is just not into you.
Move forward. Ask another girl's number. This is life. Single life anyway. If you stopped asking, than just think of how boring life would get without these 'girls' to occupy your time?

sometimes if u ask a girl for thier number they dont think ur gonna call anyways but if you do call and she makes up excuses not to go on dates then that means she's definatly not interested. nothin against you or anything, 9 times out of 10 shes already takin or likes someone else she just doesnt wanna hurt your feelings..like CRAZY said we dont wana turn u down to ur face, it makes is feel bad, its a hell of alot easier to say no over the phone or text than to ur face.which is kinda cruel but as you can see most girls do it. good luck with that btw

Well i think that giving a guy your number to most girls doent seem like telling them you are interested. Maybe they think you would be a great mate and obviously want to chat to you buy text.
Personally, if i think i guy likes me but i don't like him i wouldn't make execuses for not going on a 'date' with him. I would just say 'I am not interested in you in that way at the moment but it would be great to get to know you more' then go out as friends.
I believe that girls leave guys hanging on for a number of reasons:
1. They don't want to hurt their feelings
2. They like the attention
3. They think you only want to be friends.
Trust me - not all girls are like that. You just have to find the right one.

I agree w/ "confused" Guys do the same crap to girls! So if it bothers u that much, read the signs of a girl doing it to u and end the relationship quick and make sure u dont do it to girls or you'll be considered a hypocrite

I'm an honest girl. I don't do that. I think it might be because they're still not sure or uneasy about the relationship. They may be pressured into having a relationship with a "cool" person, if you know what I mean. It's ahard desicion. Hope that answers your question!

some girls just think that the guy would be hurt really bad if we dont seem like we like them so we just i guess make it seem like we like them. i dont know why some girls cant be foward. but hey dont worry there are plenty of girls out there who do this to so dont give up. im sure you will find someone who will be honset all the time.
