is this ever a good idea.
i mean were both single and arent dating anybody else.
has anybody ever done this before, was it worth it?

Not the best idea. Remember, you broke things off for a reason, and you are both human and those initial bonds that you once had can/will rekindle.
Ex's should stay where they belong, in the past. Nothing wrong with staying friendly, just the rumple in the sheets (although tempting at times) inevitably, will only lead you through the same revolving door.

Honestly, no. not a good idea. I've done it, it's not worth it. It brings all the old feelings back, it's painful. Even if you think you're over them it will still remind of the old times when everything was good between you. Even if its "just sex", there are strings attached. Really big strings. Ropes, if you will. If you're just looking for sex, find someone totally random, and just have fun. It's a much better idea and won't leave you feeling hurt.

I think it could open up a can of worms and probably will do more harm than good. Chances are you could start reminiscing on feelings and the relationship you had with them, then wanting to experience it again.
But if you both have the ability to have sex with no strings attached, then go for it.

I think as long as you having sex with him, you can;t think of starting another real relation. You will waste your time and someday will be too late

all depends how the break up was...
if it was on a good note( yes)..for old time sake!!!(being horny).. but,if it was on bad terms ,then no..(why would i want to open old wounds)..
