i am bisexual and have a girlfriend. our relationship is pretty good except for this one problem- all of her other friends are welcome to stay in her house. one of her friends is even staying over for thanksgiving, meeting all her nieces and nephews and such. but i am not welcome to even go to her house. this makes me intensely jealous bc i should be the one sharing her life with her, seeing her with her family, etc. my gf doesn't even understand why this is bothering me so much. do you think i have a right to feel that i do? should my gf be more understanding?

We broke up a couple months ago and I only got back together with him because then he said that after 5 years he is willing to get married and have children. He never gave me a ring and about a month after we got back together then we fought because he still hadnt gotten me the ring and I felt like he was just saying that. And he said what do you need it right away right now then lets go. And he yelled that so I didnt want it then. We have plans to go to Las Vegas and get married in Feburary or March after we both get our taxes back, but what do I do unitl then? Just say nothing about it, or about him not getting the ring? Do I stop making the plans to go if I dont even have the ring saying that its for sure? I dont want to hound him for it I really do just want him to purpose because he really is in love and wants me as his wife and not because I keep yelling about it. So should I just shut-up and wait even though I keep getting mad and hurt about it?

me and my boyfriend of a year get into alot of arguements...most of them are because i think he doesnt show me e loves me.. yet he says he does... ive asked him to show me anytime we argue and he says he'll try harder, And what i mean by showing it is to do "cute" things or take me out... or atleast doing something i dont have to ask him to do.. how do i get him to understand what i mean???

we were justing lying on his bed talking, and i asked him whats his fantasy. and he said it doesn't matter because it's not like it's going to happen any time soon. because i'm a virgin and we haven't gone pass anything but foreplay. so i straddle him and push him down on the bed and told him maybe he might get lucky one of these days, and it would be good to know. and he told me that he would want for me to be his slave, and for me get down on my hands and knees and crawl to him on my hands and knees, and beg him for it.

My girlfriend and I have been broken up for 4 months and she called me recently and told me that she misses me and that we had a special relationship. She has been seeing someone else and she has told me several times that he isnt what she wants, they dont have the same connection we have, etc., but she never comes back to me. I think she is just stringing me along, so I told her the last time we talked that I thought she was just messing with me and that I didn't think that she should call me again EVER. When I told her that she hung up on me and I havent heard from her in about a week. I DO love her, but I dont want to be second best or my head played with. I want to be with her because I love her like I no one else. I just dont know what to do. We do have a special relationship but I cant move on if she keeps trying to contact me and tell me how much she misses me, etc. What should I do? Should I ever consider being with her again? If she calls again, should I answer or ignore her?

I've been with her for over a year, but since I've moved away for college, she has taken on a lot of responsibilities (job, a couple sports, babysitting, paper route). However, while I'm gone away during the week, I only have a very short time during the day when I can talk to her because she is always busy. We don't talk much at all during the week. This bothers me, and it bothers me that it doesn't bother her.
She is also busy a lot on weekends, and is often sick, so even when I'm with her I usually have to suck it up. I'm also discouraged by the lack of spontaneity (ie; she never texts me just to say something cute. She says she loves me before the end of a phone convo, but that's it). I've let her know I am not currently happy, but I'm sticking it out because I am hoping it will eventually get better, in the long run.

Am I being whiney? I need words of encouragement.

By the way, there is NOT a third person involved, so there is no need to suggest it. Trust is not the issue

I want to make things better without 'talking about it', even though I am sometimes hurt by his distance/distraction.

It's been rough lately - we nearly split up a little while ago - but we have agreed to work on it.

He doesn't want things to get 'heavy' - and i don't disagree that talking about things can make things worse, sometimes. He has been fed up with 'relationship' discussions - which he tends to head off at the pass by (falsely!) anticipating criticisms, assuming the worst; he'll get snippy and annoyed and feel I'm castigating him when I just want to be understood. He doesn't want to hear about what I'm actually upset about - I don't think I've ever gotten that far, despite my efforts!

So ok, I'm willing to do 'fun' things - we do need more good times. Except we often slip into snapping at each other, or get defensive...

Any advice on how to approach this, with the aim of mending the relationship?

I've been with this guy on and off for about 9 months now. A portion of that he was deployed to Iraq, while he was there I was faithful, sent care packages, letters, pictures, food, everything he asked for, went without sleep sometimes just to talk to him when he would call at 3 am. Now that he's home we've broken up 5 times, yet everytime he comes back he cries tells me he can't live without me and how stupid he is for letting me go. I don't know why he does this, the whole time we've been together we've never slept together because I'm afraid he'll leave again. He tells me he wants to raise my daughter as his own and get married and blah blah blah, then disappears for a month. He's had several people tell him not to be with me because I am a single mother, including his father...What the hell is going on with him? What can I do to get him to stay with me or stay gone for good? Please help!!!!

This has been going on a looong time; my friends do not like my boyfriend, and he's tried for a looong time to show them hes a good guy but they wont have it. This past saturday i was hanging out with my guy, and another guy friend at my guys house. Every other time my boyfriend and I go to the bar, he gets too drunk, and something really bad happens.

So when we go to the bar, I dread something bad happening, and if I do finally losen up and don't 'babysit' him all night, he gets too drunk and does irrepairable damage to our relationship.

We agreed that the only way to guarentee that he won't get so drunk that he does something stupid, is to not drink at all.

Well, he refuses to give up drinking, unless I come up with something "fun" to do on the weekends. He argues that all we do is work every day, and he wants to enjoy at least one night a week.

He doesn't enjoy bowling, or dining out, or rollerskating, and going to the movies is the same to him as renting a movie and staying at home. He doesn't want to stay at home, no matter what we do at home. Of course all of his friends drink on the weekends, which makes my task that much harder.

It's too cold to go swimming or fishing.

Any suggestions?

We haven't had any alone time except for in bed,since she's been living with us so when she asked if she could go to a pizza party at one of her guy friend's house and then spend the night with bet friend I told her yes. She's 14 and she's a pest and honestly I just wanted to get rid of her for the night, since she's never nice to be unless she wants something. Anyway when he came home last night I had a romantic candlelit dinner prepared for us and he asked about her and I told him she was out for the night and I gave her persmission then he got pissed and went to get her and hasn't talked to me since! What is his problem?

It was fixing to get dark & I was fishing alone off of the pier by my house. I sneezed extremely loud. I heard a women's voice say, "God Bless you." As I looked towards the direction I thought the voice came from, I saw a women in the water. She quickly went in the water. I saw a huge fish tail as she went under. theres this guy that i like and hes very shy when talking to girls that he likes (he said so).. besides his (gal) friends.. anyway, i always start the converstion whenevr we are both Online.. for 8 consecutive days.. we chatted.. i always say hi first.. but the good thing is, he always reply (fast).. eventhough his doing something.. and this day (9th day) i said hi to him first as usual.. and waited for him to start a converstion.. but he never did..
