i liked this girl and i think she liked me back. we flirted alot last year in class and all. the problem is that i got no classes w/ her this year and i almost never get to see her again. and when i do see her, she's talkin to one of her friends.

Having been single for a few years - and liking it - i am now going out with someone from my work ( This is the 3rd work relationship i have had- not in the same workplace though each have been different jobs). The trouble is i dont know how to teel my dad. Each time i go out with someone he goes mental. my last relationship was for 2 and a half years. and everyday was a nightmare with my dad, he turned to drink and was very jealous of my boyfreind. He threatened to change locks if a went out at night and things like that.

I am an only child and my mum died when i was young so he is very protective over me. Evrytime i go out with my boyfriend i have to ly and say im going out with my mates. I hate lying and want to just tell him but nobody seems to understand what trouble its going to cause.

Im 28 and my boyfriend is 20. that alone will cause arrguments and that fact we work together will just add to it. Youd think he'd want to see me settled and happy. please help

A crusty old Marine Sergeant Major found himself at a gala event hosted by a local liberal arts college. There was no shortage of extremely young idealistic ladies in attendance, one of whom approached the Sergeant Major for conversation.

'Excuse me, Sergeant Major, but you seem to be a very serious man. Is something bothering you?'

'Negative, ma'am. Just serious by natur e.'

The young lady looked at his awards and decorations and said, 'It looks like you have seen a lot of action.'

'Yes, ma'am, a lot of action.'

The young lady, tiring of trying to start up a conversation, said, 'You know, you should lighten up a little. Relax and enjoy yourself.'

The Sergeant Major just stared at her in his serious manner. Finally the young lady said, 'You know, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but when is the last time you had sex?'

'1955, ma'am.'

'Well, there you are. You really need to chill out and quit taking everything so seriously! I mean, no sex since 1955!' She took his hand and led him to a private room where she proceeded to 'relax' him several times. Afterwards, panting for breath, she leaned against his bare chest and said, 'Wow, you sure didn't forget much

my man's always broke these days as hes doing college and working full time, but by the time he pays the rent and bills he has no money left for anything else, i'm better off than him and i feel as he knows this he excpects me to lend him money and feed him for free when hes down at my house, i dont think its fair as i have a child to feed and one on the way but he says he just has'nt got it to give me, what should i do? he says things will improve when he qualifies, i love him but the money thing is coming between us.

ok this is my idea....

we go to a chinese resturant and we're eating having fun yada yada.... then we open up the fortune cookies(which i had prepared).... i open mine... she asks wut i got or sumthing and i read.. "will you be my girlfriend?" and then i ask wut her's says and she reads.. "yeah!! about time." lol or sumthing like that....

i can do it at the resturant or i can take the cookies go to a differnent location then say "oh wait i got the fortune cookies!!" then we open it there...

if she opened her's first then i can then read mine and then it would make sense to her and then i can add something cheesy like "you knew your answer even before i asked.. " .. lol

I used to know this girl, I still like her after all these years, but she doesn't like me. Anyway, I moved away and sort of forgot. Anyway, I tried to get into relationships with new girls, but I got really mean with them for no reason and tried to drive them off. I just got bitter and swore off girls. I drove off a lot, trust me, I was really mean. Now, I ran into her a few years ago and realized my problem was that I still liked her, and now I realize I have to move on.

Now, I'm totally damaged goods, I'm afraid to admit it. I'm normal on the outside, but I completely break up when it comes to getting involved with a girl. I usually look like a total fool or end up trying hard to drive them off.

I feel helpless. My family thinks I'm weird, I'm good-looking. I'm even hearing the gay rumors, but trust me, I'm not! I feel like I have to get a girlfriend or risk being labeled a freak, what can I do?

When I was 16 I had a best friend and a boyfriend. My best friend first liked my BF, but somehow I ended up going out with him (no, it was not my devious plan and I think she was ok with it plus I was 16). Oh yeah and she had a boyfriend as well.
She really was my best friend, but I moved away and didnt see neither of them for 4 years. Since then, they both started going out and seem to be pretty serious about marrying each other. I am very happy for them. I have been married for the last two years as well and also plan to keep it that way.
I am going back to that place now to spend my Christmas there and would love to see how both of them are doing, because I think it has been a very long time and everything worked out for the best. However, I have written about 2 emails and one message two my friend and got no reply. I have always considered her my friend and we all used to hang out together. I dont understand why she is ignoring me... should i call her?

have you ever had a childhood friend you fell in love with? or does that just never work out? ever since i was 6, my mother took me to see this nice boy to play with. eventually i found that we were spending years together already and i got to know him like the back of my hand and i found that he's really great. not like any of the other immature guys out there, he was sweet and always talked to me if i was alone. i've always been told that in these types of situations, i should be his friend as much as i can. but ever since we turned 16, he's been going around dating other girls, getting dumped, and then he'd come to me for comfort. it hurts becasue when we talk, its like he's never even thought of me at all. i feel like i spent years pushing myself into the "friend zone" and i want to be in a place where he would want me as his girlfriend. i can't leave him becasue last i tried, he practically died and it hurt me more he wasn't he useual active self.

i've tried just not comforting him when he last got dumped, but i just dont get it, someone i had no idea liked him just walked up to him and did my thing of comforting him, and next thing i hear his his latest GF, am i doing it the wrong way or somthing. im so confused on why girls who just come up to him have better chances then me where i've had years with him.
