When I was 16 I had a best friend and a boyfriend. My best friend first liked my BF, but somehow I ended up going out with him (no, it was not my devious plan and I think she was ok with it plus I was 16). Oh yeah and she had a boyfriend as well.
She really was my best friend, but I moved away and didnt see neither of them for 4 years. Since then, they both started going out and seem to be pretty serious about marrying each other. I am very happy for them. I have been married for the last two years as well and also plan to keep it that way.
I am going back to that place now to spend my Christmas there and would love to see how both of them are doing, because I think it has been a very long time and everything worked out for the best. However, I have written about 2 emails and one message two my friend and got no reply. I have always considered her my friend and we all used to hang out together. I dont understand why she is ignoring me... should i call her?

Nobody really uses e-mails now.
Call her, if she ignores it, call the guy and see whats up.

Yes you should call HER. Since you moved away your ex-boyfriend might have some issues that didn't get resolved. You didn't mention if y'all broke up before you moved.

You should also tell her you are married now, and wish them the best of luck (whatever happens). The ex-boyfriend might still have feelings for you, that this other woman can see.

Definitely call her, and ask if you and your husband can visit with them. Tell her that you have missed seeing her, and would like her to meet your husband too.

She is probably afraid that you will visit alone, and her husband might remember the feelings that he had for you.

Don't be pushey though. You never know whether their marriage is a happy one or not. No one knows what goes on behind other people's closed doors.
