- Have the celebration at your own home or someone else instead of renting an expensive venue.
- Instead of having a caterer make your own food.
- Invite only close friends and family to cut down on per person costs.
- Buy a very inexpensive dress. Or borrow one. Also check thrift stores for vintage dresses.
