she asked me if i was gay. What was i supposed to say? I didnt want to lie to her but im not ready to tell them. So i just told her i have a boyfriend and my other friend started asking me who. I made up some name and showed a picture of a friend of mine they dont know. Thats all i said so i didnt lie about being gay. I just lied about the bf thing. Was i wrong to do this? pleas tell me you opinions.

I am very much in love with my boyfriend of 7 months & I do believe that he is in love with me too. We get on incredibly well, have an excellent sex life, rarely argue BUT he is incredibly selfish. He is absolutely unable to put anyone before himself. I was feeling poorly last night & he has not thought to call or text me this AM to see how I am feeling & he won’t remember that I had felt ill because he will be consumed with his day & telling me about it. I will go to his house on a Friday evening for the weekend & he will not have brought any shopping not even milk for a cup of tea. We have spoken about it & he is aware of what he is like & says its because he has been on his own for a long time (this is true he has not been in a serious relationship for years) & not used to thinking of someone else but that he loves me & is committed to making it work. He can be incredibly romantic & is sweet and affectionate. But its getting me down, how can I handle this? I dont want to lose him.

I just went out on a date with this guy to the movies and this is his first impression:

PROS: good looking, good physique, funny, laid back, tall, friendly, talkative, likes to take things slowly

CONS: smokes, cusses a lot, he may secretly love my younger cousin, always commenting on how pretty this girl is, gets excited when he sees a half naked woman on screen (this was when we were watching the movie)

the last two cons, i hated because it made me feel like i had to measure up to these "perfect" girls, or that if we ever got to that point of being serious, i may have to put up with his eyes checking out every girl who was hotter than me and maybe even cheating behind my back

so what do you think? i just want your opinion if you think i should waste my time on this guy. i know you can't exactly judge from the first meeting because i don't know this guy entirely yet, but c'mon! if i was a guy goin' on a date, first impressions are important and you gotta make sure you do it right!

I have a good friend of 5 years who I have an enormous crush on. He is very intelligent, funny and cool. We can talk for hours about sports, music, politics, other friends, etc. The only thing is that he doesn't discuss his feelings about anything serious, ever. He seems to have one mood: happy.

The few times I have tried to open up to talk about my personal issues, he usually changes the subject or has to go. Only on two or three occasions has he said something revealing about himself or about how he feels about me (one time in an instant message he said, "thanks for being here for me.") He is a great guy to help with favors, projects, hanging out, but not for emotional support.

With my other friends, especially after so many years, there is a certain level of openness where I feel comfortable speaking about private issues. There isn't that with him.

I love him as much as it is possible to love someone who won't let you in.... how do I find out what else there is to him?

i have a friend who i care about dearly. however she is a lil bit promiscuous. i have tried to talk to her about some of her actions and some of the things she do but it doesn't work.

i have been friends with her for a long time but i don't like to go out places with her because she always gets us into a situation

im recently in a new relationship and i have been friends with the guy for over a yr and we just recently got together and he really doesnt like me to go out wit my friend.

i don't get mad cause i understand where he's comin from but because of that she doesn't like him but i cant choose between the two even tho ppl feel i shouldnt be her friend because she has done so many things to me that a friend shouldn't do

my new guy calls her poison ivy cause everytime shes around she gets me into all kinds of situations and i been friends with her since elementary and were grown now but shes still the same and she continues to hurt me as friend

We just started dating a little over a week ago. For a week or two prior we "courted", but both of us had just gotten out of a different relationship.
Now we have two problems... He says he fell quickly for me and is extremely romantic, affectionate, and sexual. In fact, one could call him clingy.
I, on hand, am very independent by nature and not nearly as affectionate. Too much romance makes me want to run the other way, in fact.
Also, this is his second relationship (even in his mid twenties) ever. Good as his intentions may be, I don't think that I believe a person can fall in love so quickly as he did.
Now, we are trying to figure out what compromises we can make to keep a relationship. He is a very good hearted person and a caring friend. What I want to know is how far should a person compromise what they need and want in order to give the other person what they want?

so i went on my first date with my boyfriend, and i asked for him to put my wallet in his pocket. so being its the first date and all, i really wanted to take those pictures at downtown disney, and after we took the picture, it was time to pay.. and we both stood there, and i poked him and he took MY wallet out and gave it to me to pay. so whatever i payed $35 for it.
and then today i found out he went with and payed the tickets to Wicked for his coworker (a girl that he didnt know longer than he knew me) when he told me he was going with his mom and her coworkers.
so im kind of eh about it. but i dont want to confront him because it might get him mad. what do you think of this?

Girls, If you met a very handsome, lovely, confident, lonely guy who loves you alot and willing to sacrifice his life for you, but he has a strong Obsessive Compulsive that distructs him from his education and jobless....But that guy his family pays him most of his essential needs, such as University fee's, phone bills and he lives with parents in a big house and he pays nothing from his pocket as he doesnt work regarding to his very bad Obsessive Compulsive as well as his parents pay for him for all the needs which doesn't encourage him to work also....But that guy so passion in self develpment and got goals wants to achieve and doesnt like the situation he is living.....Will you carry on the relation with a guy in this situation or you will just leave him!?

If you won a million dollars and your girlfriend or boyfriend wanted you to make the choice of being with them or the money what would you do? keep in mind that this is the person you love with all of your heart. Personally I would have to give up the money,because true love from the heart ,you can't put a price on.

i'm in a long distance (well not really long distance, 2 hours drive away) relationship with my man, and he never ever flirts with anybody. but i see on his facebook, that girls always flirt with him?! i dont know quite what to do, since i can't really meet them or anything,.. but i really want to tell them off without being too stupid or immature.

About a week ago my boyfriend out of no where accused me of something. (no not cheating). I let him know that his accusation was false, but he continued to accuse me. In all honesty I had done nothing, he wouldn't listen. So after that plus insulting me, he said he was leaving, and infact left me. He called the next day, we talked, he did not apologize, but said if I wanted to be with him he would come back. Stupidly, I said okay. A few hours later he again told me to "***** off" and left. A friend of his informed me that since he left me, he has been hanging around a girl he just met, but that it is "nothing serious". He came back again last night saying we'd work it out, but soon after, once again, left. I have known him six years, dated for two and a half. I love him to death and don't understand why he is doing this to me. I don't know what to do, wait around and hope he'll come to his senses, or just move on. I really don't want to lose him though.

Any advice or thoughts?

I just posted a question just moments ago which was titled ""There's this guy I like but he may only want to be **** Buddies, what are the rules?""

I need to clarify.....I've seen then been with him a few times and he seems guinuinely interested in me, he takes me out for breakfest or we lay around cuddling watching movies the next day etc. but after that girl telling me he's a player, he doesn't fall in love and he doesn't want a relationship etc I sent him a that message saying "come around for cuddles with no strings attached" now I've given him a perception of me if he did like me more than that haven't I? And to be honest, I don't really wanna do the whole **** buddie thing with him anyway. I like him more than that. I like doing normal stuff with him too. I like his company. How can I fix this?

He said to me over dinner last Friday that we should take a 3 day cruise in February. then later that night, he said we should go to Hawaii next July. We've been dating for about 11 months now. Is this a good sign that he's really into me and possibly falling in love?
