I see a lot of cute boys who are with slutty girls or nerdy girls... but they don't give me a chance... When I go out, they always stare at me up and down, some have the courage to compliment me saying I look pretty/beautiful, but they would quickly leave after... and would do some other weird things... There's no boys who approach me... at all... I wear fancy clothes, jeans and heels. I'm really nice and I don't get mean at people even if the person's not my type, I wouldn't embarrass them like a lot of girls do. But they never give me a chance... I live in NYC and I'm 18... What can I do? Where can I go?

I received a text last night and after a short text convo and a 3hr telephone call. I'm curious as to what to do.

The love is still very much there and eventhough its been 4 months of hurt, I think it might be worth it.

Obviously we'd need to talk about what went wrong and we've agreed to do that already but I'd like to hear some serious thoughts and experiences about similar scenarios.

(For the record, she broke up with me as she was unsure what she wanted, it seems she desperately wants me back)

we've known each other for 8 years - way before he was married and it has been on and off since then. we can't even be in the same room as each other without something happening - the chemistry is like nothing else I've ever experienced. up until last night it was just texting but now it's moved on. I feel bad because he is married and she's pregnant but I'm young free and single, should I be the one feeling guilty? I know what we are doing is wrong but I can't help how I feel. I've got nothing to lose. should I call it all off before I get too attached or throw caution to the wind and just go for it, I'm really confused!!!

This girl and I are taking classes together. We have been close together at school for the last three months. I have never asked her phone number for all those months. Then there was a vacation for 20 days and we haven't met. One day she called at my office and I wa surprised to hear her voice cause I haven't given her my offices's number. There are two women I used to work with. One I've been trying to get with for years (I'll call her Anne), the other apparently has a thing for me (I'll call her Mary.)

Anne told me about Mary's crush on me a while back, thinking that I already knew. (It was a complicated situation but the short version is that Anne thought I being mean to Mary.)

Well, Anne came to me yesterday and told me that Mary's getting weird with her. Mary knows that Anne and I sometimes go places together, and she's been grilling Anne about where she's going after work and who with. (She's just hanging out with her female friends.) Anne also says that she gets mad when I call her at work (we're all with the same company, just different departments) to ask her something and don't ask to speak to Mary. Mary also told Anne that Mary and I "hang out sometimes" but that's always been with coworkers.

Anne seems pretty freaked out since Mary's her manager. What should I do?

we met at her work more than a month ago i really like her but i had seconds thoughts at first coz she's turning 20 and im 28 but we really clicked so what... and now we're good friends.

we went out once and we had a breaktime together (twice isnt it?)... basically we only spent a little amount of time together due to work constraints but we always communicate via cellphone (text messages and the like) and she initiates that most of the time

i havent really ask her about relationships but i always cut in some lines whenever we talk, so she knows that i like her even though i havent said it directly...

it bothers me too when she doesnt answer some of my questions regarding going out...

i dont know if i should tell her now or if i should wait because ive read many topics here that says if you like a girl go tell her bcoz that's what girls like.i think she likes me but she doesnt want to let me in her life that quickly.

So....my boyfriend and I (of 3 years) have 2 mutual friends who just had their engagement party a couple months back. I couldn't actually go b/c I was ill...blah blah... he went!

So...last week, I was on his computer and I saw a photo album that was titled their engagement. Naturally, since I couldn't go ...I looked at the pics instead! duh! well, he got a little choked up and said, "don't freak out but my good girlfriend and i were just joking around in a few of these photos" so i was like ok...and i saw 2 pictures that were a bit distasteful. There is this guy. He keeps staring at me and when I look his way he pretends he is busy doing something. He always write notes to me, that says.. " Hi how was your weekend?" or "How have you been?". we have been together 1 1/2 yrs and he used to buy me flowers and do little things all the time. He also used to want to discuss big topics. About 6 months into our relationship his father died and since then had occassionaly done things but now he does nothing. When I told him I need these things as I am always doing little things for him and need to feel loved he said he loves me but he is scared. He admited I was right yet still does nothing small. All he wants to do is sleep and watch tv , sit with me and think about what he wants to buy or travel to.In the beginning he used to tell me to stop being so scared NOW he is scared.!! He pushed and pushed till \I fell deep in love.He says he doesn't know why and that he is in his own head. He never wants to talk about big stuff or do anything for me that is nice or romantic. Shes on birth control, weve been dating for over 2 years, and have been sexually active since June 22 of this year. We didnt use a condom the first 10 or so times bc niether of us had any STD bc we were both virgins. We live together and are financially sound if she did get pregnant. anyways I am not emotionally ready for a kid (although I do want them someday) and her friend just got pregnant while on birth control. This worried me a bit so I suggested to her that we use condoms just to be a little extra safe for now, but she said no. She said that her friends tell her its not as good with a condom, and she feels that we wouldnt be as "connected" if we used one. Im not emotionally ready for a kid yet (although if she did get pregnant i would honestly be excited, but i want us to have some more "just us" time first). Anyways my question: if she wont let me use a condom, is there any other way to be safer against preganacy? I dont know what I can do
