Would you ever break up with someone becasue they are ugly?

I would never ever ever, but i am just wondering.

EVeryone on here says that they only take what is on the inside that counts.. Im sorry but thats untrue. U must be attracted to them in the first place, which means u think they look good. everyone else mite think they look like the back end of an elephants bum, but to u teh person is gorgeous, handsome...etc... when u start to fall out of love, the person becomes ugly to u. u are no longer attracted, so yes i would. many break up b/c they see the person as ugly. If the person was still attractive, they would still be together.

Well it really depends on the person.

In reality, although physical attarction really comes first, some people look beyond the physical attributes of a person so they opt to stick it out. But shallow people let it go and break it.

There are some who are physically ugly but a beauty within, personality wise. But there are also some that are physically beautiful but ugly within. Some people prefer the former others prefer the latter.

I guess I have provided you some input.

They say that true beauty comes from inside... Unfortunately, I'm not interested in falling in love with a beautiful spleen, or kidney, or whatever.

Looks are important, and I doubt I'll get involved with someone who I can't look at and feel pleasure. So, technically speaking, no, I don't think I'll ever be in a situation where I would dump someone because of their looks. These things should be sorted out before I become involved with someone... otherwise I would just be disingenuous, wouldn't I?

I would. Isn't the reason why we get together with someone is to have a mate and possibly have children with them?

It's the same thing with my ex, at first at I thought that he's a good guy and would be a safe bet as a boyfriend but when I thought I was pregnant with his child I suddenly found myself running for the hills. I thought to myself "I can't have his ugly bastard child..."

But then again, beauty is objective. What I find repulsive can be a thing of beauty for another.

So there you go.

I don't believe you would get involved with an "ugly" person if it mattered to you. Remember beauty is in the eye of the beholder! However there are a lot of people who's behaviour can only be described as ugly- best rid of them asap!

No. If you love him ... how could you do that? if you love somebody ..... even tho' he's the ugliest person on earth .... you can't see that. That is why... there is the saying ... 'love is blind' ..... and the lovers could not see.

No matter how he looks .... in the eye of the beholders ... still ... he's the most handsome guy on earth.

Looks would not be in any case the reason for breaks-up. Things get sour.....when he start to show off his bad character.

That time ... things change ... even tho' he's the most handsome person on earth .... but because of his bad attitude ... everything will follow ....

So I guess .... good attitude still the most important.

Beauty is on the inside not the outside. And no I wouldn't just because others make think so from the outside I wouldn't be with someone who didn't have a beautiful soul on the inside. No matter what they look like on the outside. Good luck, best wishes.

No, but if they also had a ugly personality i would break up but try to remain a distant friend.
But if you don't like their looks doesn't that sometimes mean your trying to fool yourself?? just wondering??
