Ok I have been with this guy for 2 years+ we were engaged and i have gone through hell with him... from cheating to drugs to drinkin.. i stood by his side as he overcame these demons.. Ok well latley he's been working cutting wood and seling wood for winter all day he'll leave at 8am and i won;t see him till 8pm.. ok i understand but he don't even act like he misses me he works all weekend.. never offers me to go with him. he never wants to spend time with me. (unless its for sex) if i even offer to hang out.. something comes up and he has to "work" he's always abusing me emotionally and i feel like nothing to him.. so i left him today.. was that the right choice is he going to change?? or am i just gonna sit here and hope he calls and says sorry??

A somewhat new friend of mine seems to think that even though I have a bf, he can still protest his feelings for me every now and then (which is actually every we talk, mainly at college). He feels that he is just being my friend, but still leaving room open for other possibilities.

The thing is, I don't want to hear all that. I have a bf and not really cool with him saying certain things. I also imagine that my bf wouldn't really like that because I would feel weird about him having a girl friend who kept saying these kind of things to him, as well.

So although I've told the guy that I have a bf, and that I'm not really open for certain kinds of talk, he still brings it into the convo at some point. He's a nice guy, but I can't be comfortable when I feel like a person has other intentions behind their words....

What should I say/do please?

Ladies do most of you prefer the nice guy. (dosent like to argue, passive, not really into sports, gentleman, smart, opens your car door) or do you prefer the tough guy (aggressive, outgoing, loves sports, still dosent like to argue but isnt passive when has aggression aimed his way, puts you in your place when out of line).

P.S. just listed some not all of there characteristics.

i have been talking to this guy since oct 5th, we have fooled around a few times, he calls me almost everyday since we have met, we havent been out on a date or anything just going to his house watching tv, having drinks, or going to his moms house while he cooks, this past sunday went over to his mothers house watched football games and then went to his house and watched more tv, well i went home and he went to his mothers house to check on her for the rest of the night (she just had surgery and cant walk) well he called me once he got home to let me know he made it home safely. I am attracted to him and hes the kinda guy i can see myself with, but how do i know if he wants more from me than friends with benefits, i should ask him but its to early since we only know one another for a week. How do i know it will be more or is it more already and i just dont see the light?

I have been with my GF for over 2 years. We always said we loved each other and everything seemed great. Suddenly out of the blue she says She doesnt feel love anymore and that she doesnt know what she wants. She wants to go out and have fun and maybe meet other guys..then she says no she doesnt want other guys but she doesnt know what she wants. She wants to try and work it out, and for us to be together. She wants me to wait until she figures things out and see if that love will come back. Its insanely hard on me because I always love her and Its hard for me to not say I love you to her, and its even harder knowing that I love her so much but she doesnt love me back. How am I supposed to deal with this? Its affecting everything I do everyday.. all I can think about is if she is going to leave me all of a sudden or if she will love me again. Any suggestions?

I've been dating my boyfriend for six weeks now. This guy who likes me is aware of it respects it, etc. But he likes me, and I think I like him. But I also like my boyfriend. I'm willing to "flirt" a lot with the guy that likes me...which I do. & I'm willing to have "sexual fancy's" with him through phone... she said she feels disconnected from me lately and she doesn't know why and then she said she needed some time to straighten stuff out a something about it almost being a year and her needing to be sure of of this relationship. and then she was like I want you to have fun and forget about me during this break and see if you still want to be together.

This hot girl that I was dancing with for a couple hours said I looked so hot, that she wanted me to put my junk all up in her trunk... So I told her ok, and to go out to my car... When we got to my car, I gave her all my junk that was in there... Broken lamp, old smelly sneakers, and a bag of McDonalds from a couple weeks ago... I said thank you and drove home.... i'm a stupid weak woman ( atleast in that sitaution) i got set up, and lied to, and i fell for it, and now for the rest of my life i'm going to be known as " she is tony crazy ex girl friend" ahhh... you know the only thing i did was react when he was messing with my head, but no that isn't an excuse. i dropped his stuff off at his house, someone keyed his car.. blamed me, he tells people i broke into his house, never happened, i had unprotected sex with him, i let him do things that i do not stand for, and everything was a lie, wow on behave of all woman i'm sorry and some way some how i will find the courage to show my face again =[...oh yeah i told him i thought i was pregnant ( i mean not have a period in 2 months) and he told his whole family that i told him that i was pregnant.. and he told EVERYBODY, .....i never knew relationships were so hard.

Okay, she isn't my girlfriend anymore. But Sweetest Day is Friday and I thought it would be nice to give her a gift to show how much she still means to me. I made a scrapbook of poems I wrote and some pictures from when we were together, and some other pictures that I took after we broke up. She doesn't know about those because I was always hiding in bushes when I took them, so I think she'll be pleasently surprised.

The problem is, she has a restraining order against me. So since I can't give it to her in person, what would be the most creative, romantic way to present her with the scrapbook?

I've known this guy for about a month at work-we've been to lunch and talk several times each week. Things seemed to be going good, getting to know each other, etc, kind of moving towards dating. He has always come across as very open and honest and kind, never cocky and over confident like some guys.

So the other day we agreed to meet to discuss a project (nothing assigned to us, just something kind of hypothetical). He said he hadn't thought about it and it would really help him to discuss it with me. Now here's the weird thing: When we finally met, instead of an exchange of ideas, he had totally researched and prepared stuff. I basically sat there while he "dazzled" with research, ideas, and rock solid stuff.

Afterward, I felt bad because I didn't get a chance to add my ideas and felt like he wasn't expecting me to. He really wanted to show off his skills and intelligence. He seemed pretty happy when we parted. Why did he act this way?
