You've had some sort of effect on his life. Don't know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, but that's what I would think if I were a girl and a guy said something like that to me.

depends what is saying u did. For example, " if he saying u have done something to him because he never has felt so much for a persona before he really mean like u are something special or a witch.....

It means he has feelings for you and he's either not ready to commit to them or he's not sure if they're real. He's in the process of falling in love, but he needs a little more time before he can get the actual words out.

Ask him what it is that you have done to him to make him feel that way.
Then you will have your answer or maybe he is just shy and afraid of saying, I love you, because you might tell him to get lost if he says it.

Like most other answers, it's either that he is true in his feelings and he does love you. Or, he is trying to get in your pants and in this case, he'll say whatever you want to hear to get them pants off.
