Im In Love with my best friend and feel that she has feelings for me too, but im not sure, we are more comfortable with eachother than with anyone else, we always take trips together with other couples, the only problem is we arent one, what do I do, I cant take it anymore, Im thinking about just distancing myself from her.

I was with some friends last night and my ex called. We are still friendly and there is a chance we will get back together (I hope).

He called last night when I was at a friend's house. I answered and said, "I'm eating dinner, can I call you back?" and he said, "Where are you at?" and I said, "I'm at so-n-so's house," and he said, "Oh, I'll just talk to you later then."

I took that to mean he knew I was busy, and to call him back when I was free. I called him 2 hours later, when I left my friend's house, and he said, "Oh, so I guess you only call when it's convenient for you, is that it?" and then he was very distant and quiet the whole time I talked with him, and he finally said he was going to go to bed.

Was I being rude? Was it ok to wait? I haven't seen this friend in a while and my ex knows that.

I have had a lot of people , especially people who were close to me, use me & hurt me, and so now the guy I am seeing, I want to trust him so much and I love him very much and he says he loves me, but how do I know if he's being true about his love for me? he says he's very serious about me, but I want to make sure he is... can you give me some signals he may give or things he may say that I know he loves me truly? thanks

I asked this question and most of the answers put the girls of Hooters in the same category as Stripper. Is this true that a girl at Hooters could never be attracted to a guy that come in the bar. My bf and I have been dating for 3 yrs. I am 18 and he is 20. We have never "done the deed" b/c we want to wait until marriage. He told me that he used to.......um.........well......... "solo" guy stuff but told me that he quit after I got mad at him for doing it. Anyways, should I be upset with him for doing it? Is it normal for guys to do it? Do you think he still does it? Do you know what i'm talking about?

And what if he admits that he has thought about other girls than me while doing it? (Like models and actresses and such) Is this normal also?

I recently heard a story of a woman who had fallen in love with her boss and just couldnt confront it even though they were both single. Finally when she was about 40 she decided to resign from her job to 'get a life' as she couldnt forget him seeing him every day. He asked her why she was leaving and she confessed to have fallen in love with him. He then proposed to her!! This is a true story! We ve been knowing one another for a year now and we confessed our feelings to each other. We also agreed to postpone sex until after marriage ... now, he is all times telling me "I want you." My girlfriend has had very bad relationships in the past. She was taken advantage of and had been raped. Now she always tells me that she doesn't like sex and doesn't want it. My boyfriend only comments on women's butts and breasts. He doesn't comment on any other thing arould us, not a sunset, not an unusual paint job on a car, not a guy with a giant gut hanging out from under his shirt, not a woman's hair, face, arms, legs (unless her skirt or shorts are VERY short), not her stomach, her back, her feet. Nothing else around us is worth mentioning except boobs hanging out or see-through clothing. We saw a 400# woman at the Renaissance Festival with no less than 12 individual rolls of fat on her back and stomach, and he didn't even seem to notice she was standing there. We saw a guy swallowing swords and fire! Didn't hold his gaze for one instant. But then we saw an average looking girl with a slightly see-through skirt on and and he comments on it! The world could be exploding around us and he would miss it unless the blast blew open a woman's shirt! What's the deal??? Sorry, that was a long rant. Thanks for reading :)

I think there is, loving someone is when you want the best for them and you care for them...for example if my best friend did drugs, I would try to help her b/c I love her.

But being IN love w/ someone is when you can't see yourself w/ anyone else, they are the first thing you think about when you get up and the last thing you think about when you go to bed...and you can't stand not being in their presence, you have to be near them, you like to feel the warmth of their skin touching yours, you can feel comfortabel around them at all times, you can cry in front of them, you can trust them w/ all your heart and more. And all that in general...

but do you have a different interpretation or do you even think there is a difference?
