My girlfriend has had very bad relationships in the past. She was taken advantage of and had been raped. Now she always tells me that she doesn't like sex and doesn't want it. I love her a lot and I'm going to marry her in a year. Anyway I've tried everything to make her enjoy sex .... but she still can't seem to get into it. What should I do? Should I wait it out ? Or should I apply more pressure on her? (This is my friends' profile I'm just using it so I can find an answer)

She needs to see a therapist. Lots of women tend to act like this until they can get it out, and truly talk about the trauma that they endured, not just the rape but everyting else she has been through.

You must be very paitent with her, and go slow "baby steps". I know it is probaby very hard (no pun intended) and frustrating but you're still with her, so you definitely love her. She'll be ok as long as she gets some good solid help.

Don't apply any more pressure to her!! She will start to feel like she is being forced into a sexual act again. You don't want to hurt her, or push her back into her past.

You sound young and rather immature to marry, as perhaps your girlfriend is. Stable and solid relationships are built from the ground up, with trust, respect, dependability and honesty and, TIME.

You don't say how long you've been "going" but I can tell you this much, not long enough, or this would not be a question you would have to ask...I'd put off marriage for awhile were I you...

I think you should give it a little bit more time cause i don't think you would want to push her cause that is what that guy did and that's why she hates sex now just give it time and i think she will come around.

I think she needs professional help. Anyway, in her present condition she is no candidate for marriage. If she won't get help I would say bye bye, because you will be one unhappy dude living a celebate life with her.
