I have been seeing the same person for almost 9 months and really feel I need some time by myself - a break I guess you could call it. Things are not going well between us and I feel like unless I have some space our relationship is over.

Can distance help a relationship?

Me and the guy in question are friends. We haven't know each other long as we met through starting college. He's in all the same classes as me and we spend all the time at college we have together. We enjoy each others company and he has often said he's glad i'm at college because if I wasn't it wouldn't be as fun. We talk about anything and everything, finish each others sentences and make each other laugh all the time. I want to tell him I like him, but i'm not sure how too or if the age gap will create a problem?

I've heard it said that if a guy keeps in contact after there's something physical (kisses, cuddles but not sex) with a girl, it means he's interested in her? Is this true? Lets say you've been friends...long distance and then one time you get together..its a bit more than friends and then, he contacts you afterwards..does this mean he has feelings for you or he just wants the friendship maintained? How do I even find out how he feels..I'm too shy to bring it up and he's such a nice guy, I know he wouldnt want to hurt a girl if he couldnt return the feeling. Thats what has me confused..Help!!

I was dating a wonderful guy for almost 3 months. Everything seemed to be going great, we got along amazingly, spent every weekend together. He had been out of a relationship with his ex for more than 15 months (he was with her for 4 years) and told me he was over her. However the ex has a daughter (not his); who he adores and feels almost as if it is his daughter. I saw no problem in him spending time with the little girl as he had raised her and he loved her. However, two weeks ago, the ex, being "nice" told my boyfriend that since he was now with me, it was best he didn't stay in contact with her (i.e. he wouldn't be able to see the little girl much any more). (I didn't know about this "offer" BTW). So, out of the blue, last week he sat me down and said he didn't think it was working -he was looking for all the good points of his ex in a new relationship and could tell I wasn't right for him. I think it has more to do with losing the little girl. Should I just let him go?

hav known tis guy for 18 mths but we started to date abt 3 mths ago. my family total disagree of our relationship.Because he is divorced with 2 kids and does not hav stable yet promising career n income.

Another thing is illiterate and he doesnt speak english.as for myself,i wish to have someone that i can de dependent on.he is good in personality but not financially (i cant be paying for the luxury enjoyment all the times).and nowadays that everything is almost in english,whenever we go out together,it looks like i m taking care of him, explaining and directing him what, why, when..

i am feeling tired sometimes.knowing that the relationship will not go to another level,i want a break-up.but he talks me out everytime.now i am not answering his call for a week.but this morning he called. i told him i am dating with another guy (i lie).he try to drag but i demanded him not to call again. he was silent and end the call without a word.am i doing the right thing?am i too harsh to him?

your boyfriend broke up with you the day before you went on vacation to a cruise? if you had been together over two years, and had given him your virginity and planned on marrying him?? and he told you he did this bc he wanted a job that you didnt want to be apart of his life if he took it. My best friend for 8 years has been spending a lot of time with my girlfriend, we've been going out for a month and now it is starting to seem like she enjoys spending more time with him than with me, I can trust my friend so i know she's not cheating on me, but i just want to be able to spend more time with her and want her to want to spend more time with me, when i do get to hang out with her she always suggests bringing Alex (my friend) along. it's at a point where I'm getting really annoyed about the whole situation and i want to talk to them about it. how could i approach the conversation, and what can i say to have them understand what I'm feeling.

I dont know why my bf is so moody during the week. he says hes always tired bcoz of work. we dont meet only on tuesdays and thursdays. yesterday he said that were meeting to much and he dsnt have free time for his friends, his video game, for his car etc (which its not true) bcoz we only meet up like 1 hr during the week. he said we can meet only on weekends. then when weekend comes his mood changes and all of a sudden he wants to be with me. i cannot understand him. sometimes i feel happy and sometimes i feel lost. i know im sounding childish but i love him so much!!!

Ok i have been trying to get this girl, well i feel cheesy saying this but its the only way for me to explain how is feel, im in love with her. Problem is she already has a boyfriend. But she herself and all of her friends can not stand him. Hell her mom is bribing her to leave him with a car, and a new cellphone. And her current boyfriends mom has been trying to get her to leave him. He is a asshole , he has cheated on her 3 times that she knows of, and is constantly accusing her of it, and being overly jealous of every little thing she does such as hugging one of her friends etc. I have told her i like her and tried everything i can think of to show her how much i care thats is not in the affair area.She has told me that she was going to leave him for me now 4 times!!! But has every time backed out and hurt me. Ive even asked her to leave him once, and hinted a few times but she wont. what should i do. Im sick of it! But i fear missing my chance if i date someone else.
