My best friend for 8 years has been spending a lot of time with my girlfriend, we've been going out for a month and now it is starting to seem like she enjoys spending more time with him than with me, I can trust my friend so i know she's not cheating on me, but i just want to be able to spend more time with her and want her to want to spend more time with me, when i do get to hang out with her she always suggests bringing Alex (my friend) along. it's at a point where I'm getting really annoyed about the whole situation and i want to talk to them about it. how could i approach the conversation, and what can i say to have them understand what I'm feeling.

Tell your girlfriend that you want to spend more time with her alone. Then plan some things for the two of you to do as a couple. It's as simple as that. Try to keep it positive. You don't want her to get defensive. Just say that you feel like you don't get to spend as much couple time with her as you used to. It's o.k. to say, "I'd rather not have Alex go this time". Don't say anything to your friend because you'll just make him feel awkward.

Sounds like your girlfriend is trying to get with your best friend and your best friend really doesn't know how to say no to the attention. If it goes on, they'll score with each other. To meet this threat, tell your girlfriend to bring the hottest friend she has the next time you all go out so your best friend won't be lonely. If her friends are too 'busy' find another girl who might be able to hang out with ya'll. An odd number means somebody gets left out.

I don't think you are being selfish and I think this is normal. Two years is a pretty long time for being a junior, and I think after 2 years she probably does want some girl time, I know I like to have my share. Just give it another week, and if she doesn't come around, do something sweet to make her head over heels for you again :]

askstraight away to your girlfriend first why she wants to see Alex all the time, explain your confusion to her to make sure she doesn't him or just want to have him as a friend. It's important you have to start conversation first and make sure she still loves you .

maybe your gf is afraid of being with you alone therefore suggests to bring your friend along.
you can try to write letters to them both telling them your feelings.
that way, you won't feel awkward to express your feelings.
