My girlfriend got home late and said she would call me back if she wasn't in trouble and could talk more, she didn't call back but later i found out that she had talked on the phone with a friend that night instead of calling me.

So what. Are you her father? No. So don't act like her father.

Let it go. Maybe she or her friend had an 'emergency' issue (yes, girls often have to help friends with emergency issues such as mental breakdowns, break ups, or just being down in the dumps) and had to help her friend through it, or had an issue herself. It is bad that she promised she'd call back and didn't, but it would be best to just get over it, especially since you now KNOW she was talking to a friend instead, so she wasn't talking to another boy, or out with someone you don't want her with or whatever. If you think about it that way, it really isn't bad at all.

Well first of all that would kind of depend on mostly how you feel about it. And it also depends how you first reacted when you heard that she called a friend instead of you. Also remember friends before boys i should know cause i'm a girl=P. Anyways, If i were in your situation, i'd just ask her why she didn't call you, and is she said she couldn't call anyone and then you told her you knew she called her friend, then see how she'd tae it from there.

Have you talked to her since? If you have get over it big deal. Was she in trouble? She did call. maybe she got in trouble. Quit whinning she maybe needed to talk to a girlfriend at that point in time. If it was another guy yes you have a right yo be mad. Just chill out for now ok. lori m

You need to learn how to handle these situations and turn them around on her. NO do not get mad, if she tries to offer an explanation as to why she did not call, just tell her, "it's o.k., you don't have to explain", she will think something is up with you and she will probably start to sweat you, and I don't think you will have a problem with a situation like this again. I pulled this when I was single and it worked like magic, had my exes squirming!!

It depends on you.You have to know what you really feel deep inside of you. If you were so worried about her not calling you back than you should talk to her in a gentle way and tell her to please make sure that she calls you if something like this happens because you were really worried and remind her that you love her.If your cool with it than why should you be mad at her.

Give her some space! Why would you be mad over one little phone call?

you shouldnt be mad for one phone call omg.
so what if she called her friend, it was probably something she couldnt discuss with you, and then maybe she didnt have time to call you. If she didnt want to talk to you, trust me, she wouldnt be your girlfriend.
So lay off ok...geez, you possesive freak

Don't do it!

It starts out as one little thing, then it becomes nagging, and nagging is one of the worst things for a relationship. I nagged my boyfriend too much....now that I've cut back, things are so much easier.

Just think to yourself, are you really THAT pissed about it? Or is it something you can forgive?

I dunno. As long as she doesn't do this often, I wouldn't get upset about it.
