doesn't that kind of contridict it self women are not into looks the way men are but even if a man doesn't find a women physically attractive if she is cool most of us men will talk to her as a friend but with a women the only time she will talk to a ugly man is if none of the other women have no problem talking to the man,and they say women are more mature then men

so, the girl i've been crushing on for a little over 3 years asked for my number after school one day. that night, she called me up and asked if i liked her. i froze up, completely freaked out of my mind. suddenly i heard myself say no. it was too late to take it back. she still comes up to me in the halls and gives me hugs, and sometimes comes to my locker at the end of the day. by the way, i'm a grade above her and she's a freshman. what i'm wondering is, do you think that i still have a chance with her if i ask her to hang out on the weekend? or should i just forget about the whole thing?
oh, another thing.. right before she hung up that night, she told me how she was enjoying being single ever since her ex dumped her about a month back.... is she just tryin to get me jealous? idk... answer please!

I am an independent 21 year old woman. I do not ask for much from the men that I meet. Like any woman all I want is love and attention. I have considered myself a good girlfriend, but I find that in the long run that men do not seem to appreciate that, so I ask do men really want a good woman? I have guy friends who are with women that treat them like crap but yet and still they take it and give them the world.Where is the logic in that? Some of my friends have told me to stop being good to guys, but why should I or any decent woman out there have to change who we are in order to get a man to appreciate us it does not make sense to me whatsoever. Most men will tell you that they want a decent woman but I am starting to wonder about that. Men these days have lowered their standards and seem to have lost the sense of who they really are.

I am 36 and the Marine I have been dating for a year now is 30. He is in special forces and is pretty much a loner (he has a handful of close friends). He recently opened up to me drastically and told me he wanted me to be the last woman he is ever with and me to be the mother to his children. He says he has never had the feelings of completeness till he met me and he has never been able to talk to anyone as he does to me. Everything he talks about is in "us" and the future and he is very considerate of my feelings. He wants me to move in with him so he will never have to be without me. So my question to you is, does it sound to you as if he will be proposing to me soon? She and I had been doing fairly well until Saturday night. I decided to go out for car parts and to get a six-pack of beer. While I was gone I ran into a friend around 7:30 and he asked me to go to the bar with him to have a drink. I decided to stay longer and had maybe 8 or 10 beers, I was to drunk to drive so I went to sleep in my truck for the night. I went home the next morning about 8:30 and she was horrified. She had been up all nite calling people, jails & hospitals. She doesn't believe me that I was passed out that whole time and that I dont remember where I was. She says she doesn't trust me because I have changed my story 4 times and because I get mad and scream because I dont want to talk about it. She wants me to tell her details, I shouldn't have to, she thinks I was with another woman. I love her deeply but I dont think I should have to tell her my where abouts all the time, she knows i'll come home. But now I have this enormous trust issue to deal with from her

I really think it would just be impolite for me to ask a girl out. I'm not that attractive and I dont think anyone would go out with me. I really would like to have a girlfriend, but I just dont think its for me, I dont have the looks, I'm not the smartest or the funniest, I'm just average. I can't see why anyone would go with me.

So what do I do? I feel really embarrassed/awkward to ask a girl out. Do they expect it? Are they mean about it? I dont want to make a mistake. I'm afraid she'll say no. In fact, I know its true that she will.

I find when I'm at college that girls look at me all the time but, I never approach them. I've been told by some female friends of mine that I'm very attractive but, I intimidated them when they first met me. Once I enter a conversation with a female I have no problems carrying it on. My main problem is just walking up to women I do not know and starting a conversation after they give me the eye.

Me and this guy have been dating for a few months now. Things have been fine but he keeps kinda of pressuring me into having sex. I grew up believing I should wait till marriage.. not saying thats what I will do, but just right now I have a hard time going against that. He also never really shows he cares by doing the small stuff like just sending me a text saying he misses me. My friend has never been single out of the five years I've known her. She broke up with her boyfriend to go out with my guy friend, then she broke up with him (after a very short time)to go back to her ex. Now she's single again and she says she has a crush on this other friend of her's. She always makes herself out be the victim when it comes to these situations, but I'm tired of it because she's the one that breaks their hearts.
What is up with her? Does anyone else think that she's moving a little too fast? And why do all these guys have crushes on her if they know that she's a serial dater?

Guys-if a in one of your classes asked you for your screen name would you assume she liked you? This would be if you sat next to her every day and talked a little but didn't know each other too much.

I am seriously out of options. I was going to go to a singles dance, but only old people go to those, so ther would be no young women my age there. I am not in school, I work full-time; so that is out. I would go to a club or a bar and grill but I know women in those places are very hostile to guys. I tried online dating and I failed.
