My friend has never been single out of the five years I've known her. She broke up with her boyfriend to go out with my guy friend, then she broke up with him (after a very short time)to go back to her ex. Now she's single again and she says she has a crush on this other friend of her's. She always makes herself out be the victim when it comes to these situations, but I'm tired of it because she's the one that breaks their hearts.
What is up with her? Does anyone else think that she's moving a little too fast? And why do all these guys have crushes on her if they know that she's a serial dater?

Unfortunately alot of women portray themselves as the 'victim' in order to receive attention, in particular from the opposite sex. Some people simply do not like to be alone and therefore will always need someone around them, some people have a desire to be wanted/needed as this elevates their low self-esteem.

I am guessing your friend is charming, funny, attractive and intelligent and she uses what she has to her advantage and hence, why men are attracted to her. Absolutely nothing wrong with being comfortable with who you are but if your intent is not so good or coming from a selfish place, this will always have an unpleasant result.

However, ultimately, your friend is living her life as she sees fit and only she can really know what's what. Understandable that you are concerned about your male friends but they are responsible for their own decisions in regards to your female friend as she is for any choice she makes.

Her problem is she needs to be in control of the situation and is afraid of being hurt. Therefore she breaks off relationships before things get to personal.
