A diamond is forever...is this forever...

Forever is a llllooong timmmme!

Only then is a diamond appropriate.

It would be misleading to her if it were not.

I've been in a three year relationship and I would not want a diamond yet, even if he gave it tomorrow ...I would feel bad because I do not want it yet?

Are you asking her to marry you? lol If you are then no it's not too much, however if it's just a gift then it depends on if you can afford it and if it's a reasonable gift. Well that's my opinion cuz some women would say that a diamond is never too much. I think it doesn't matter how much the gift costs.

No its not too much, but just know that if you want to marry this girl, whatever diamond goes on the ring better be bigger than this one.

Get her birthstone in a friendship ring. Save the diamond for the engagement ring. You don't want to take the luster off the engagement ring, girls dream of the engagement ring all of their lives.

Nope, what's much more than a diamond on her finger and everlasting love?

I don't think so. Just make sure that if your intention is not engagement that you make that clear. If could be awkward it that's not your idea. If it is, then no. My husband & I got engaged just before our two-year anniversary.
