i was speaking with a neighbor who was against gay marriage, he basically told me cause the bible says its wrong. he wouldn't explain it any further. well to those who believe its wrong, please answer my questions.

what makes the bible the supreme structure on which we should base our laws off? why not the tora or the koran or what other things like those exist? why not?

my friend also said that "god" gives a free will to everyone, if "god" does so why are people trying to take away the right from gays having the free will to marriage?

and last question, how is gay marriage such a threat that we should violate our own constitution (freedom of expression and religion) that we must establish such a law against gays and void one of the reasons this nation was established? isn't establishing this law a slap in the face to others who have other religions or none at all?

I met a guy 2mths ago and we have been friends. There has been no sex between us, we both want to but we think it's not a good idea at the moment. I haven't been happy for a long time and now i feel like i could be falling for this guy. One of the biggest reason's why we haven't had sex is cos i'm married and also cos he respects me and believes sex is sacrid. We both agree that we met at the wrong time in our lives.I am 23 and he is 30. My life began at 14 when i met my partner and his has yet to begin. We both feel like we could never be 2gether but when we see each other it feels so right. I don't know what to do. Isn't it true we have just one life do i take a chance, or stay in unhappy marriage.

I want to "sexually" surprise my husband as soon as he comes in the door from work today. I am not sure how or what to do though. Should I wear something? Should I be naked? Should I be in the bedroom, kitchen? How should I stand or sit or lay? I have had a low sex drive for a long time, and today for some reason I am really wanting to have sex and make love. Please give me suggestions on what to do to make his day! Thank you!

I should be thankful for my healthy family, but all I can think of is the problems ahead, like no insurance. I have been putting up a good cover, but I'm so sad. I'm 'tired' of acting happy.

I have temporary full custody, my ex only has "SUpervised visits"

I'm not required to tell him anything about the kid's right since i have full custody right?

Like his doctor stuff and about his report cards etc? I know if you have joint custody you have to send this stuff but not sure about this.

Let's say you and your significant other get married and your both known for being a good looking couple in every aspect, but 2 years into the marriage your wife/husband starts letting themselves go (not caring about how he/she dresses or keeping up with regular grooming) while you on the other hand maintain your good looks. Is it shallow/vain to tell your partner that you no longer like the way their looking (but of course you still love them) and that you want them to start taking care of themselves?

My wife hates her job, her co-workers, her boss and her work sitsuation. She is a teacher. For the past 3 years our marriage seems less of a marriage and more like a counseling session and I feel as if I am drowning in her depression. We talk about it (me listening) from the time we get up, to her drive to work, our entire lunch hour and several other times during the day she will call me to tell me the latest horror story about parents or a fellow teacher etc. I am quickly getting to the point where I don't want to speak to her. She tells me that she is worried that she is drowning me in her sorrows and dragging me down...I started to tell her the other day that it was and she became upset saying that I don't support her and that she would me...but I too have problems but there isn't room for my stuff, I don't tell her this because she is too loaded with her own things. I'm a strong person but I'm feeling overwhelmed by her depression. I feel selfish for feeling this way.

help?

My husband and I haven't even been sperated for a year and he is already having a baby with another girl. That means that this child will be my daughters half sister. My husband is telling me that I need to get over it because there is nothing he can do about it now. It is almost like he is making it my problem. This girl already has 3 kids that she can't even take care of by 2 different guys. My husband and this girl can't buy anything for this baby. I am sorry but I have 2 daughters that he doesn't give me money for and I don't need to worry about another child. My question is,do I need to be nice to this child or do I just ignore it? Children are my main love in life but I feel like this is not my problem and I don't need to worry about it. Am I wrong? This child will be here in a month.

Wife thinks that by sexing me up, I will stop cheating. Why don't women get it ?! Giving up more sex would not prevent the man from going astray!

a week. I am so mad about this because they have a son who is 3 and his wife is upset because he is trying to make his self better by taking classes at night so he will be able to move into a high bracket of pay at his current job. they agreed as a couple before he started taking these classes that it was the best thing to do... so long story short she wants another baby and he isn't ready and she now wants a divorce because she says he is too romantic for her and she needs more sexually... i just don't get it .. He asks me questions about their relationship i don't know what kind of advice to give him or should i keep it to myself? I personally know a lot of girls that would die for the romantic things he does for her ..me included... what do i say to him????

My husband and I have been seperated for almost a year now. I left him because he has a drinking problem and it wasn't fair to let my daughters see it anymore. It was up to him to get better for us. Anyway to make a long story short he ended up finding someone else and now they are having a baby in a month. He calls like once a week to talk to the kids and I don't mind that at all but sometimes he calls me late at night to talk about the kids and I don't have a word to say to him. I guess you could say I can't stand him. Do I have to talk to him? Is it wrong for me to ignore him? He stopped paying me any money a few months ago for the kids and that is why I don't want to talk to him at all. What would you do? Do I have to talk to him even if the conversation is going nowhere? He says it is making him mad that I don't answer the phone anymore. He says I need to answer the phone when he calls.
