Marriage & Divorce - 3 December 2006

So I get married at 18 to my 17 year old girlfriend. We had a daughter together and tied the know. 9 years and 4 kids later we are still married but not for much longer. She has decided to leave me because she says she is unhappy. I love her with all of my heart and I am not going to fight her on the divorce and I am going to give her whatever she wants. It may sound stupid but I want her to be happy and I am trusting her not to screw me over. My hope is that one day we can be together again. Anyone ever see this happen before or go through it?

I have been married for 10 years but worked away for 5 of them. My marriage has not been the happiest and i never seen myself being with my wife forever she never shows me any love, we never make love and all she ever does is put me down. But we have children together and i love them. I have never cheated before and never intended to until I met a girl when i was out and have been having an affair for the past 6 months she has shown me love affection and makes me happy. At first we just talked and text each other but feeling began to grow for both of us. My wife has just found out she said she would never let me see the kids again and she would hurt me as much as i have hurt her but now she has said she wants to try for the kids! But will it work would i be doing the right thing when i believe my heart is somewhere else.

i have brought my daughetr up on my own (i;m female by the way) i live with her dad till she was 18month old! but he never helped me with her he never even acknowlaged that she was here! he used to beat me up if she cried when he was asleep! he beat me up one day when she was 18mths old in front of her after 6 years of putting up with him i that night reported it to the police he had to move out of the house as he was on bail he never had any contact with us for 5mth after being to court an being found guilty i agreed that he could come on a sunday to see her but as he never got involved with her an because of his history of violence their is noway he is having unsupervised visits! but after letting him come bck n see her all he has done is well and truely mess us around and play mind games with me! he only show when he feels like it he is never on time he is trying to make us homeless and never takes an intrest in our daughter half the time when he comes he goes to sleep on the sofa!

Here's the deal...in high school I was best friends with "Nicki", we were inseparateable. Then after I graduated (she was younger than me), some things happened...she came and lived with my husband (then boyfriend) and I, and after months of her paying no rent, I had to kick her out. After that, we didn't really talk to much anymore. I mean I didn't want to kick her out, but we had no money and here I was taking care of her, driving her everywhere, so on and so on. Well it had been awhile, and we hadn't talked for months. Right after my husband and I got married, my brother ran into her at a gas station. and have a little fun? My husband caught me talking to a man online about sexual stuff. We did go into graphic detail and were showing each other on webcam . We also started talking about meeting,but he was over 1000miles from me.my husband said I was cheating and that my friend was disrupting our marriage. We have a 7 month old baby and now another girl is 5 months pregnant with his baby. whenever i ask him what his feelings are he tells me that he doesnt love her but they have contact and everything. Im sure i want to move on but i dont know how to forget him. Im now living alone with my baby and its not easy cuz im a student and i have no family in this country to help me im completely alone. Have no money to do somethings which will distract me from my husband. Please help me what should i do???

Several months ago i took my neighbour's child out and while out at the mall I cut her hair in a style the parents did not like. They are now threatening a lawsuit for $18,000 stating they were planning to cut the child's hair in India in March 2007 at a religious ceremony and what I did was a"Huge mistake" as they are going to India in Dec and March and i need to pay for the trips etc.
I tried to apology and sent a letter and now I am going to the SIHK temple to get a formal prayer and letter from the Temple stating I did this and do not disrespect their religion ,but Icannot pay $18,000 for their trips to India to have prayers and special oil done to remove the "spell " I put on the child etc. The parents are not willing to accept any APOLOGIES OF ANY SORT I THINK. They want me to bow to them and make me feel bad about the situation . I will not pay their expenses for their trips!!
Can you see any other solutions?? What is the real issue now???

We are aware of what it is for you husband to give you respect, but what about ULTIMATE respect. Examples of respect is not cursing at you, etc. But giving you ULTIMATE respect would be like, not allowing female friends to call your home (even if he growed up with them), another example of ULTIMATE respect is when a friend or family member needs to borrow money, your husband considers your opinion, instead of hiding it from you. Not allowing women (not relatives) to come to your house and visit. Not allowing his family to run yours, especially not to come to your house and try to run things. Give me some examples as a married woman you've dealt with that you may think is not respectful.

My husband and I have been married for nearly 2 years. I have already been through one terrible divorce and admit that I have some trust issues. My husband owns his own company and has began to travel alot this past year. He is maybe home only a few days a month. I fly out to see him when it is possible for me to arrange a sitter. I have two children from my previous marriage and he has two from a previous marriage. It is a strain for me to be able to travel so much and he is "married" to this business and very adimant about being successful and has done very well. I quit my career to be able to have the option to travel to see him when it could be arranged. He is obsessing about his business and our marriage is suffering tremendously. I am alone and just feel terribly lonely. I worry that my children are not getting the father figure they so desperately need in their lives because he is away so much. [ My ex-husband is not a good role model and never see's the kids].. What do I do???
