Marriage & Divorce - 23 November 2006

My husband's brother and wife are far from parent's of the year. As a social worker, I set up parenting classes, make my own daily visits, just to make sure the kids are fed and changed (they are 3 mos, and 2yrs). Last night I got a call at 2:30 in the AM to go and bail her out of jail for a domestic dispute. A neighbor called the police because the children were crying a long time. Her and her husband got into a physical argument. (her fault) Today, when they came for thanksgiving, not money being lent was mentioned, the issue of the children was never mentioned and she sat on her butt, as well as him, while I ran around like a chicken with my head cut off serving about 30 people. While I was cleaning up the mess, she not only talked about going shopping in the morning with her sister, but she also informed me that they were going to try having another child. Sarcastically, I said "don't you think you should learn to care 4 the ones you have first?" She got mad and she left.

I was in the bathroom last night washing my face and my husband snapped his fingers at me and motioned for me to come to him. (That is his way of calling me sometimes....its so cute!) I came to him and put my arms around him and my head on his chest and he told me he wanted me to wear this brown and white dress that he bought for me and a white cardigan sweater for Thanksgiving. I got so sad because I told him that I had let my sister borrow my dress and that I didn't have it. Well, it was too late last night to call her so my husband picked out something else for me to wear. I felt so bad because I love pleasing my husband and dressing up for him. I told my husband I was so sorry that I couldn't wear the dress and that I would do something very special to make up for it. Does anyone have any good ideas? I really would love to hear some, because I want to make my husband very happy. I love him so much!!

I just moved to Atlanta, Georgia like two months ago and it has been really horrible here.
All the kids at school are drugies or alcoholics and nobody is even nice enough to say hi.

I'm originally from Lewisville, Texas and i miss everything there, my stepdad, my friends(especially my best friend), my old school, everything!
I grew up there for 17 years and i moved only because of my parents divorce.

Now my mother and I are having financial trouble, My school grades are poor and still dropping,and I'm always in a deppresive mood.
I don't know if i can handle all this stress.

Should i go back to Texas or should stay?
What should I do?

I need help!!!! I was never around stay at home moms growing up and now i am one but I dont know how to do housewife things. Like how do i schedule cleaning and my son and time for my husband. How do i make sure that I stay happy doing it. How do i get that inner want to do the constant housewife stuff? And most of all What are my duties as a housewife? I know I am going to get crucified for this, but here it goes. I just got married last October. My wife and I were best friends with her brother and his wife. I was together with her for 8 years and didn't get married for the best reason. My sister in law (brother in law's wife) felt the same way about her marriage. We started talking and connected and had an affair for several months. They found out and we are both going through divorces. We are madly in love and want to be together. I really feel like it will work out for everyone in the end. What do you think?

i am 24 yrs old shes 32 and she loves me a lot , shes relative of myne and she comes to my home often stays close to me and even kissed me takes more advantage over me (more like controlling me) my parents think that shes behaving to me as if she was my sister but situation is different, she even kissed me ,she blackmailed me that she will write letter to my parents as if i behaved badly to her and etc etc every 1 here will beleive what a girl says so i am just worried what to do i dont stay at my home much nowadays donno

i jump to his defense all the time and he always agrees with me and him and his brother always talk about how awful they are YET i nearly lose it because of how they treat him....how do i stay out if it when all they do is intrude in our business and my fiancee refuses to set them straight??!!! he says that thats how they are BUT it interferes with my daily life...they are very miserable people that wants everyone else to be the same way and will stop at nothing to try and make it happen!!!!! help before i lsoe my mind!!

Just wondering, as the two marriages I know that fit this description are or were very unhappy marriages. It seems to me that men enjoy doing the chasing and it means they really love the woman, whereas when the woman does the pursuit, it almost seems that if a marriage results, the man just gets "worn down" and marries because of outside pressure. I thought that that someone in my husbands familystold 50dollars today when they came over for Thanksgiving. I told my husband he got upset and asked all his brothers, sisters and cousins, If they seen the money anywhere. They all said no, we did not make a big deal in front of his family because it would suck to acuse someone of stealing if they didn't.In our bedroom secretly I was acusing his family and we had a big agument today.
i looked everywhere I couldn't find it.My husband dicided to go to his sisters house to acuse her boyfriend (that's who we blamed)he on his way to thier house,when I found the money in my bra.I felt so stupid. I called him and told him that I found the money he was about to pull up in their driveway, so he did not acuse them, but when he asked me where i found it I lied because I felt I had too, I told him I found it on the floor behind the computer.I was scard to tell him I had it in my bra the whole time.I feel bad for lieing,advice please!TY

Are there any young woman out there that snore because of a narrow nose? Dose your nose get blocked when your sleeping so has any one ever told you make a loud snort or gasp to get breath and then resume normal sleeping? Have you ever been sleeping and you start to snore only through your nose then it gets blocked and you wake trying to get breath?

Look at the world, somewhere in the world there is a perfect person for everyone. Weather they are 10 miles away or they are 100,000 miles away. For example: I am in the US and if you were in Canada, and we found interests in each other and things worked out then I would consider traveling to be with you. Not always can you find that perfect person around the corner.

I miss my ex soo much, I am a very spiritual person and i truely do feel that we are destined and supposed to
be together. He knows as well as i do that we are soulmates and what he is currently doing right now in his life is not correct. I am a caregiver who went through an unusual experince. This lady was a 102 years of age with no family, brothers sisters, or no children at all. She was by herself (so she claims). I took care of her for a day, bathed, dressed, and made lunch and dinner for her. She signed a contract with an agency that she would need me, however she refused to sign my time sheet when I was done for the day, so no pay! Who is responsible in making financial decision for the elderly if they have no one at all?
