What do you do when you have feelings for someone that you don't want to be with?

I've been going with my boyfriend for a year now and everything couldn't be better. He is the most wonderful man that I've ever been with in my life. Well I have this ex of mine that won't leave me alone for nothing. We've been seperated for at least 4 years now but he still has feelings for me. He'll come up to me and ask me if me and him get back together and if I still have feelings for him. Well this has been going on for awhile now and now I've started thinking about him more and getting this feeling that I'm falling in love with him. I don't want to feel this way and I don't know how to stop it. I've tryed telling him that I didn't have any feelings for him nicely but he won't take no for answer. Can somone give me advice on what I should do so he wont' mess up the relationship that I'm in now?

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year. I have joint custody of my two kids with my ex husband and they are only with me every other week. It seems like my boyfriend and I fight a lot when they are with me. Everything he does annoys me when they are around. I feel like he disrespects me and I do the same to him when they are with me. When it is just him and I, everything is just fine. My kids love him and he is pretty much living with us. I want to make this relationship work I think more for my kids than for me. We both have a lot of changes to make but I want the changes to happen NOW. Does anyone have any advise for me?

Ok, im not legaly married but ive been with my sons father for 4 years. he is the birth father, i have never strayed. Our home and all bills are joint (in both names). My son is 3 years old. I want to leave my BF or kick him out, my bigest fear is joint costody or losing costody. Does anyone know the law, because we are not legaly married can he file for joint? He is the blood father but were not married, does that matter?

And i am sad to say getting along is not an option. We have not had an intmate relationship in months, about 2 yrs now. He is controlling, and verbably abusive.

After numerous court dates, and the judge giving my ex wife deadline after deadline to refinance our marital home, she still has not done it and given me my share of the equity. She claims her credit is bad and the interest rate is too high, etc. The judge then gave her some time to try to raise her score or find another mortgage company. I have another court date Monday. The judge said that she had to refinance by October 15. She didn't, so that's why we're back in court. In the meantime, my credit is shot, I am struggling to pay bills, and I need this money. Is there any documentation that I can show the judge this time to prove that I am in need of my equity in the house? Our divorce has been final since August. Please help. My lawyer does accompany me to court, however, he doesn't seem to be much help. Thank you very much.

this is the deal I have this neighbor who is constantly wanting me to touch him. I say NO it's not right and I like your wife very much go have her touch you. he one day came over without knocking and grabbed my croctch I told him to leave i told my sister then my husband he said I should be flattered that another man finds me attractive. My wife and I have had a fairytale marriage of adventure, always very close like soulmates with lots of friends and 3 lovely kids now in teens. She turned 40 3yrs ago and wanted her own job and more space outside of being a wife and mum. I encouraged her too and all was fine. Last year my work was very hard and I asked for more support but she didn't know what to do and focused even more on her own life. Last month I find new flirty text messages on her phone and she admits she had an affair last year but didn't give her heart away and is over - she just wants our family life back. But I feel different, everything has changed and it's undermined what was the centre of my life. How can I ever feel the same and want another 20 yrs together? I am expected just to accept this?

Q1. How come everytime I ask my husband to do something he says i will in a minute or hang on a minute? and how can i fix this? My ex-husband is a severe alcoholic and now that we are divorced he spends every weekend getting drunk with his neighbors who are also drunks and the wife is bi-sexual and just plain nasty. Before the divorce, he could not stand these people but now he spends every weekend partying with them. What gives??

not very attracted to husband who is a nice man with good values. husband is a divorcee whose ex left him for another guy. sex has happened maybe about 5 to 6 times in all these months with more fighting scenes then good moments as I recall. Is this normal? is there any hope?

After me and my boyfreind had an argument i decided to take sometime to think things thru.and reflect on the relationship.he thot id wanted to break up so he got another girl but when i told him i wanted to talk and sort things out before we continue he told me he had another girl and explained he was too heart to cope with the pain so he rushed to get (rebound)someone to ease the pain ..since he thought it was the end of us after the attempts to talk to me failed. i love this guy but now the problem is he is in a dilemma.he texted me and said he would have wanted us to continue but because of the girl involved.its proving difficult as he is scared of breaking her heart.so thing is what should i do i love this guy to bits please advise

Been divorced 1 yr married for 8 yrs with 6 yr old son.Bitter divorce found out ex was cheating with old gf and left me for her.Things are better now i'm still resentful but try to be nice for my son and ex does the same. here's my question what do you and your ex do as far as parent/teacher conferences go? Go together or at different times? What about birthday parties or halloween do you and your ex do joint parties or does he do his own thing?My ex lives in the same town as us and i would say we have an "average divorce" meaning we don't want to kill each other but i'm still resentful for what he did to me and he wants as little contact with me as possible.I think we should do some of these things together but i know my ex will not.He is a great dad and i know he will do all this things on his own.So please just let me know how you all handle this issues. Oh yes he is no longer with the gf he left me for but a new one who i do not get along with so this is half the problem.
