Is marriage something that men want just as much as women, or is it something that men feel is forced on them from women? I'd like to know or hear from men who are happily married or people who know of happily married men.

After looking on here I do not want to put my pain and my cry for help out to strangers who abuse this sight. I want real help. I do not want to insult people (some of the questions and answers are sincere) but so many of the questions have nothing in common with me, a 47 year old woman trying to get on with the largest issue of my life.

My due date was Oct. 5th. I'm going to the hospital today (Sunday) and the dr. said i should have my little baby tomorrow (monday)! :) I'm so excited cant wait to see my little man...
The problem is, my husband works out of town, well he came in friday, and yestarday (Saturday) he called once and started crap with me so he told me to find someone to take me to the Dr. Sunday. and that he was going back to go to work. So i hung up the phone and he has not call or anything, and here it is sunday and i go to the hospital in about 2 and 1/2 hrs. and he still hasnt called to check on me or anything. I want him to be there but i dont want any stress from him or him wanting to start stuff with me while im getting ready to have a baby. What should i do, leave him alone and let him go back to work and miss our child being born or what? I dont know what to do please help.

why indian women are more sensitive when they fall in relationships compared to other foreigners?

I am happy for him because our relationship has long been over. However, I find myself feeling envious because I have struggled to find something long lasting and satisfying in terms of a relationship. It doesn't make sense to say this, but I was the one who instigated change and worked at improving myself and the marriage, which ended 2 years ago. He did nothing and so it ended. I am glad I am no longer married to him, as I was very unhappy. It feels unfair to me that I am the one who struggles with dating and has had some hard experiences with boyfriends, while he finds a relationship easily. Has anyone else experienced this type of envy? I would like to find the right guy myself and be happy.

My ex husband sacrificed everything for a relationship with one of his co-workers - our marriage, custody of his son (he has visitation rights) everything we built together in 15 years. He knew her less than six months!

What happened to comittment and til death to us part?

Our marriage was not perfect. We had issues - taking the other for granted was probably the biggest. I will always believe we could have worked out our problems and been together for another 20 years. But...he made the choice.

I am trying to understand how someone does that. Give up everything for someone you barely know. What is going through his mind? What is going through hers? He was a married man who had no respect for his vows, his wife or his family. And you want to be with him - Why??

I plan to start a resale shoe business that will donate its profit to an organization that will help sexually abused children. And wanted to know how I could go about getting people to donate new or their gently used shoes. I have a few ideas of my own. But I would like ideas that will get many people to respond and make them keep responding.

My ideas are:

Have the local high school student councils have a "shoe drive"
Put a full page ad in the local paper
Put a "Donate your old shoes box/stand" at local shoe stores
And Flyers and more Flyers

P.S. I know this doesnt belong in this category but to get different suggestions I have to post in many different areas.

All suggestions will be appreciated. THANX!

My father in law is 90 years old and has been sick for the past three months. Unfortunately it is basically a waiting game. My husband has been sleeping at his dad's house for the past two months to help out. My mother in law and brother in law live there too. I am tired of being alone every night and told my husband he needs to be home . I can understand going over one or two nights a week but isn't 7 nights exaggerated. I also told my husband he could spend more time with his dad during the day and then come home at night. Am I wrong? Shouldn't I be one of his priorities?

my hubby an his friend are often out in the yard talking and the wife of his friend comes out. Her pants must be so uncomfortable! right up her hoochy - coockie! big *** camel-toe. I am so humiliated by it , I don't dare go out an join the conversation. I have explained how I feel towards her to my hubby an how uncomfortable this makes me feel! inwhich , my hubby never acts the least bit odd or even stares that way. but it does bother me that she is so disgusting! would it be right to say something to her even tho she will get pissed off at me? how would you handle this situation?

I have been married to my husband for almost 11 years and in that time he has gotten progressively worse when it comes to his angery outbursts. Its hard to deal with now that we've brought our three year old daughter into the picture. He works many hours and he only gets one day a week off *Sunday* and it seems that for all the time we spend apart, the one day we get together we should be getting a long and being happy but we typically end up fighting or he's angry about something. I have left him once over the situation and asked him to seek counseling or even to talk to someone close but he refused. He got on meds and that seemed to help but now he's going back to his old ways again. When do you finally say, enough is a enough and throw in the towel? I am starting to question whether I even love him anymore and if I want to deal with this either. What do you think?
