In what situation or under what circumstances wud a man hit a woman?

if that man is an aggressive psychopath there need not be any reason to hit woman. in some countries, men think it is their birth right to beat their wives.they do not wait for circumstance. a normal , cool person hits woman when he came to know that she had illicit relation ship with other man. due to inferiority complex also, i mean if the wife is superior to her husband, in intelligence, status in job, the husband without any reason wants to beat his her wife so that he would satisfy his male ego.there are some men who can not show their anger on others when they are insulted, came to home and beat their wives. in psychology it is called displaced aggression.

I've taught my sons to never hit a woman, unless she has something is her hands, such as a knife or gun. If their life is being threatened, by all means ... take her down, by whatever means that may be necessary. But, if a woman is hitting them with her hands ... restrain her. A majority of the time, the male is physically stronger that the woman, therefore, he had the ability to restrain her ... until the police arrive and she can be charged with assault. SHE MUST BE CHARGED, otherwise she'll never learn that hitting someone is unacceptable.

Me myself never. I could never hit a woman and if a man does he is not a man anymore. On the other hand my grand father always said if a woman hits a man she is not a woman anymore. So take it as you want. But hitting a woman is wrong.

In self defence. My hubby got drunk one day and I got so pissed at him because he was being an @sshole, so I slapped him, and he got up and slapped me back and told me no matter what the situation, I am never to hit him agian. I was not mad at him for slapping me because he was right, I should never have slapped him. I know I will never hit him ever again, and I know he never has any intentions of hitting me, unless it is selfe defense. We are still very happily married 3 months after the situation. So it is what you make of it. You can let a one time situation make you or break you. Us, we are stronger and learned through the lessons of the mistakes we've made.

There is no situation that would justify violence against a woman..
walk away......if someone gets you that angry...it is time to move on and find someone who you are happy with..
if you are a woman who is being hit....run dont walk out the door.. it doesn't get better.....not without lots of counseling......

Years ago (18 of 'em), when the marriage to my 2nd wife was swirling down the drain, I found her at the local bar and tried to get her to come outside & talk to me. She started to walk away, so I grabbed her jacket sleeve. Now, there had NEVER been any violence between us, but when I grabbed her jacket, she spun around and started slapping the crap out of me repeatedly. I don't know why, but I didn't let go. A few well-meaning "Knights in shining armor" decided to come to her rescue and tried to restrain me. The second she saw they had me, she looked me dead in the eye, balled up her fist and puched me in the face as hard as she could. I snapped, the guys hit the floor and I slapped her once, right to the floor!

Some of you may cheer this!

I felt like CRAP immediately afterwards. I still feel like crap remembering that moment. To this day I consider that my lowest point in life.

the only situation or curumstances a man hits a women is beause there afraid there bullys and salfish some are drinkers some on drugs and some what control over you. they what you to think twice before you do something or your going to think oh i don'nt what to to that or go there because you know how he will get. and thats what he wants thats control. a man who hits women is a man who needs help and you as his friend wife girlfreind a family member cannot help him he needs to what to stop God is his true healer.or talk to someone in the church.
