Yep. In fact, I'm actually a well-known wedding curse (25 years expertise) so I tend not to go to them anymore.
A lot of it is stupid stuff, you know, getting all gooey over a pooufy dress and forking out a lot of money for one f*cking day and how many bows should adorn the table, blah blah blah.
Also, a lot of people get hitched because of what they can get out of the other, i.e. fiscally. Also, I hate it when male friends get shacked up and their hideous spouse changes them...
Yeah, I'm feeling that nausea too. I thought it was me being bitter and twisted, but it's not. People lose their friends once the couples and kids start...and people change and then suddenly the most important thing in life is their next f*cking dishwasher.
In the event of me getting married (haha) it'll be a personal affirmation of love, not some f*cking romantic freakshow. Hahaha.
Wanna get married?? lol

I was often in the choir singing at weddings, and I used to feel so grateful that I got to leave the church still a single woman. I had already had my first marriage annulled, then I met my second husband and pretty soon regretted exchanging the single for the married state! I divorced him a couple of years ago, and 18 months after that, I met the lovely man I'm with now. We haven't discussed marriage, but I find I don't mind whether we marry or just live together as happily as we are now. As long as he leaves everything to me, obviously! : ) (Well I've left everything to him so it's only fair!)

I must admit I get slightly jealous when I see a couple get married. Its because my sister had a very successful wedding and also when I see people get married I get the notion that they are going to live "happily ever after" just like in the fairytales

Only when they are marrying the wrong person, and just are in love with the idea of being married and turning a blind eye to the truth. If they love one another then I am happy for them.

Yes. It is all romance and sex until the ring goes on. Then the children come along, and its all nappies, crying kids and hubbie up the pub, wife pulling hair out and shouting at the kids. You know if a couple look happy when they are wearing rings, they are not wearing the rings of the person they are with.

I do. I got married three years ago to a man I met twenty years ago. I wish we never got married. We would have been better off. When I hear someone is getting married my first reaction is Don't!!!!

Boy, what a pathetic loser you are. There aren't enough words in the English language to explain your depravity.
Whats the matter, can't attract a good man? Sound like it. lol

I like to yell "Don't do it!!!" when I see anyone get married - even strangers. 50% of marriages end in divorce and the other 50% live in misery. (Maybe there are 1% marriages where they are happy to death do they part.)
