Marriage & Divorce - 16 September 2006

because my wife says she wants me to start shaving my gotee. I think it looks good but she says it makes me look like an idiot. I've been married to her for 5 years and we have a son. I just want to dump her and move outta state over this, it makes me so mad! What kinda things do I have to do to get this taken care of, and any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

Am i going to far with worrying about this?

I was recently legaly seperated but now we got back together and its working out good , during that time I was seperated I had sex with a old freind just once and I have been worried she could be pregnant. She had her tubes tied 17 years ago and she is 41 and she thinks i am nuts, She has had 2 normal periods and even took a home pregnancy test just to shut me up which turned out negative but I am a worry wart.

What do you guys think am I just be stupid and need to stop worrying about her being pregnant?

Also please don't flame me I am just a nervious person who always fears the worst with everything

I am - and am wondering how common this is or is not. Do you know why you are - what contributed? Are you willing to fix it? If so, how? Why do you continue to let it be this way? Is it OK with both of you? Do you talk about it?

I can either stay in a bad job in a town I hate where my husband and I can only afford to live with his dad and be miserable here, or I can pack up and leave and go back to sleep in my parents living room and have a shot at a dream job. Trouble is I don't know what will make me happier.
My husband has his faults but I love him and would miss him, but I know being unhappy here is driving a wedge between us. He hates it here too but it seems to hard to cut the umbilical cord and get him to leave. I feel split in half. I have a shot at doing something I gave up a few years ago that I loved, something that I can't really pursue unless I live in a larger city, not port saint lucie florida (so. florida is a big, wet, hot, flat stink hole thats full of overpriced land and rich elderly yankees...do not move to florida unless you are rich enough to enjoy it ) I miss having family and friends around and feel like I need to just get out of here

My husband says he won't leave b/c I "won't let him". I would not have let him lead this bachlor life he has been living the last 5 months either if he had asked but it didn't stop him. So how in the heck am I stopping him from leaving now?
He stays here at our house about 3 nights a week and hardly ever on the weekends but he has yet to completely move out or go file any paper work for the divorce he says he wants.
I have told him this is his decision and I won't fight him on it but he has to be the one to do it. He tells me he loves me still but he just got married to young and needs to "sow his wild oats" and of course he can't do that and be married because he "still has a conscience" and can't be around me knowing what he is doing o me.
Just super confused here, how is me waiting on him to do what he says he is going to, not letting him go?
Oh also our house burnt down in March and I am kinda waiting on him to get the new one built so me and my girls will have somewhere to go.

To have a extremely violent, yet healthy relationship with your wife?
