You don't get them to marry you. If a man wants to be married he will pop the question. If you scheme and plot to have this happen he will not be happy or will resent you and or the children. The old saying goes why buy the cow when the milk is free.

A. : You do not "get" him to marry you. If you are ready for that type of commitment, let him know. That doesn't mean pound him for not asking you and you having to bring it up. When you feel like it's time, say it. Either he will agree and do something about it or he will tell you he's not at that point in life yet.

If you are in an adult relationship for more than 3 years then he is not going to marry you at all. Let him know what you want and what he stands to lose if the goals are not the same. Don't waste time. Move up or move on.

Easier said than done honey. You can't force someone into marriage. This man may have legitimate reasons why he doesn't want to committ. I don't understand why you feel it's his responsibility to ask you. In this day an age, it's not unheard of for a woman to ask the man. Why not ask him?

YOU DON'T WANT TO DO THAT!!! Why would you want to make someone marry you. Would you feel comfortable doing so??
But if you are sure you do, and live in France, the taxes are on your side. You will save loads of cash by getting hitched!

you dont he has to want to commit hisself to you and if he doesnt then you will know marriage isnt on his mind but you can talk about but dont push him to ask you after 3 years if he doesnt ask for your hand maybe he isnt interested in marriage with you
